The pressure to deny free speech to the MOTD presenter is increasing again.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-67701186
How can the BBC claim to be independent when the government chooses its Chairman, who then puts pressure on its employees because Tory ministers don`t like some personal views Lineker has expressed on social media platforms?
And we look down on countries where free speech is forbidden....

Anderson, Shapps and Gullis are three arrogant tw@ts.
I hope Lineker gets more mileage out of this. He certainly knows how to get under their skin. He is doing it in an extremely adult manner.
Their responses are straight from the playground - and a primary playground at that.
Their arrogance and self-importance clearly blind them to that.
The ruling classes are not what they used to be......

According to the BBC, it was Lee Anderson.
The Conservatives` deputy chairman Lee Anderson told the Daily Mail: "For once in his life, Gary`s absolutely right - we do need a system that reflects the will of the British people. What the people want is to stop the boats and to tell overpaid crisp salesmen to put a sock in it."
Anderson is a total d!ck, but his sarcastic description of Lineker as "an overpaid crisp salesman" is quite funny....

Maybe Shapps and Anderson use the same person to write their speeches, BPP. too thick to write their own.

The Tories are literally digging their own graves, its great! They think they are talking for the people, when really the true right wing racists they are speaking for are in the minority.

I`m genuinely concerned that so many Tories seem to forget decisions they`ve made or where money came from/was spent. If I had a quid for every time one of them said "I can`t recall", I`d be minted.
