Best film I’ve seen in a long time,I’m not the biggest Queen fan but this was an excellent watch.

Pretty poorly received by most of the critics so that's interesting.

Yeah I'm gonna have no choice but to go see this as the wife is a huuuuuuuuge Queen fan.
I don't mind them.... But I'd rather not sit through a film aboot them.
She knows I'm not really keen to see it though so we'll probably reach a compromise.... And go to see it!!!
Cos that the way it works ye ken 😏

Forget the criticism,It might not be 100% accurate but it doesn’t spoil the film in my view

I wish Sacha Baron Cohen hadn’t dropped out. He’d had been brilliant as Mercury. The film about Elton John that’s coming out could be good too. Rocketman it’s called.

Reasonably enjoyable fluff however some of the recreations of iconic Queen moments missed the spot for me...Wembley in particular looked plastic and caught none of the "feel" or spectacle.
Taken for what it is It's an ok romp..

I agree Zod, Sacha Baron Cohen could have been a stupendous Mercury. He was tailor-made for that role. Pity it took so long to be made that he withdrew his interest.
Having seen the preview, the new lead doesn't seem to carry it off that well, so I am not sure whether I will bother going to see it or not.

Saw Queen in Newcastle when they were doing the "It's a Kind of Magic Tour"
One of the best live performances I've seen.
