Funny thing is, his administration has actually done pretty damn well on paper. The guy just isn`t a showman like Trump and much of the rhetoric about him being in cognitive decline is projection from the Trump campaign because the orange man is most definitely in cognitive decline. A younger candidate would definitely be refreshing though.

Netenyahu knows if he can hold on until November then a Trump win will strengthen his hand considerably. They have a bit of a checkered history with each other but Trump will put that aside for the sake of his own self interests .It was Trump that recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the Abraham Accords were the work of his administration.

This Palestinian doctor has lost nearly 100 relatives in Gaza. He movingly explains why he refused to meet with a prominent member of the Biden administration.
Much is said about the Jewish lobby in Washington and elsewhere, but what is less said is how many members of the White House administration are Jewish. How can it be justified to appoint a Jew as Secretary of State to look after the powder keg that is the Middle East? Yet, if you check back over the years, many Secretaries of State have been practising Jews. The cards are constantly stacked against the Palestinians, and that is a primary reason why we have this ongoing tragedy.

Biden is doing an exceptional job. He`s fixed and continues to fix a lot of the serious damage caused by Trumpolini.
His occasional slurring and verbal gaffs are caused by injuries to his brain. That sounds bad, but his intelligence is not in question.
Trump, on the other hand, is thick as mince with little grasp of much outside fraud, lies, and bankruptcy.

One is 78, and the other is 81. But surely, even if supported by a competent team, the "leader of the free world" as he is often called, cannot be a figurehead, who is hidden away somewhere, for fear that he may lose his train of thought in public and blurt out absolute nonsense, as he did two days ago.
While the Democrats must surely now replace Biden, it seems that the Republicans are not under the same pressure to replace Trump. "Fascist Dictator" may be an exaggeration and whether he may be worse for Europe or world peace, isn`t as clear to me as it seems to be to others. There is no doubt that he comes across more as a buffoon than a statesman and in present circumstances that might be dangerous. His brash and off the cuff style may be slightly more entertaining than Biden but may not be what the world needs right now.

The Cass report isn`t science either. There were more than 50 research studies available and Cass selected the only 3 that slightly favoured her position while all others that showed the opposite to her position were rejected.
The lied about Charlottesville thing is BS as well. Trump 100% said there were good people on both sides. One side was vast majority neo Nazis. Trump claiming later he didn`t mean the Nazis doesn`t mean Biden lied, it means Trump lied when he got called out for supporting Nazis.

From Snopes.
Claim:
On Aug. 15, 2017, then-President Donald Trump called neo-Nazis and white supremacists who attended the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, "very fine people."
Rating: False
About this rating
Context
In a news conference after the rally protesting the planned removal of a Confederate statue, Trump did say there were "very fine people on both sides," referring to the protesters and the counter protesters. He said in the same statement he wasn`t talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be "condemned totally."

"It has long been a truism that politicians lie," wrote Carole McGranahan for the American Ethnologist in 2017, but "Donald Trump is different". He is the most "accomplished and effective liar" to have ever participated in American politics; moreover, his lying has reshaped public discourse so that "the frequency, degree, and impact of lying in politics are now unprecedented".

For all his bravado, he actually made it easier for them to expand China power eg in Africa etc because a) he didn’t really grasp world politics, b) his negotiations were actually quite weak and c) his America first approach and withdrawal economically and presence meant they could really impose themselves in Asia

"Evil personified"
Biden supports the mutilation of mentally ill children.
He doesn`t. That is a ridiculous assertion probably related to gender issues.
Far too complex to cover with a one sentence sweeping statement.
Biden supports late stage abortion.
He doesn`t. His exact words were, "Not for it, period, period, period."
If you think Trump cares about abortion beyond playing to his cash cow and
ultra right-wing supreme court lackies, you are sadly mistaken. All Trump cares about is Trump.
Biden mandated experimental injections.
Are you referring to Covid? Behave.
Biden used lawfare on his political opponents.
Tell me more.
Biden/Obama put kids in cages, then blamed Trump.
In 2014/15, there was a huge influx of unaccompanied children. They had to be housed safely for 72 hours during processing. The Obama admin built some of the cages to do this, and also for children who were deemed to be at risk from the adults they were with. Many of them were being used as drug mules or suspected trafficking.
They did not systematically remove all children from parents as a deterrent like in Trump`s zero tolerance policy.
Biden lied on insulin.
He didn`t. Trump provided capping at $35 for the few snrs whose insurance providers covered it.
Biden made the cap mandatory and covered more products.
Biden lied about the laptop from hell".
Biden lied on border patrol endorsement.
Hmmmm. A politician lied or exaggerated!
Not good, but seriously. Trump makes Walter Mitty look like George Washington. He is the Father of Lies.
Biden lied on Border crossings.
Biden lied about Russian collusion hoax.
He didn`t. The report was sabotaged by his corrupt AG.
Miller confirmed this.
Biden lied on jobs created.
Opinion.
Biden lied about Charlottesville.
He didn`t. Trump referred to the people who marched with white supremacists in the KKK organised Tikki Torch parade, as very fine people.
Although some of them were only using the opportunity to protest the removal of statues (of white supremicists) it is far from accurate to describe anyone who would join with a Neo-Nazi group chanting "Blood and soil, and "Jews will not replace us." As very fine people.
Snopes got that one wrong.
Biden lied about US military deaths.
Biden lied about Covid origin hoax.
Opinion
Biden showered with Ashley.
That seemed damning when I read the first few articles on it. There are other articles that have a more balanced view though. She never claimed it was at an inappropriate age, never divulged what age. She obviously has issues and it is concerning but I would do more research. Lots of parents have baths or showers with children. Opinion on when it becomes inappropriate is largely varied. Personally I think there is no need for it.
I`m not going to try to defend Biden on this one, but why would you assert this and ignore the multiple public examples of Trumps perversions, including telivised comments about his daughter, and teenage pageants.
Biden gave eulogy for his mentor KKK member Robert Byrd.
Byrd was celebrated as a good man who worked tirelessly to fight for equal rights. He was in the KKK as a youth and was active in the 60s too. He apologised for his actions and set his future life to making ammendments.
Very commendable. It is not easy to break those chains
Biden lied about "Suckers and losers" hoax.
Not according to John Kelly, who was present at the time.
Biden lied about unemployment.
Biden lied about trillionaires....errr billionaires.
Biden lied about social security.
Biden lied about his handicap.
Opinion.
There are, on the other hand many videos of Trump cheating at golf.
He has never won a tournament besides cheating at his own courses.
He only ever entered one in 2006 at Edgewood (where he met Stormy) in which he couldn`t cheat, and finished 67th out of 73.
Trump.
No wars.
Read "Peril" by Bob Woodward.
He also withdrew troops from the Turkish border to let his pal Erdoğan slaughter the Kurds who defeated Isis.
He emboldened Putin by threatening to leave Nato.
He negotiated the terms of withdrawal from Afghanistan which Biden had to try and honour resulting in humiliation.
He assassinated an Iranian official which didn`t help in the middle east crisis.
He needlessly moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem to appease his pseudo Christian donors, resulting in many deaths.
You don`t have to start a war to be guilty of mass murder.
Oh! He orchestrated an uprising, resulting in the attack on the Capitol, resulting in deaths and threatening civil war.
Low inflation
Lol there was low inflation all over the world in that 4 years. It rose globally after covid but Biden has eventually brought it back under control.
Low drug prices.
Great economy.
It wasn`t. The stock market hit record levels because he gave billionaires a tax cut that they reinvested their own stock.
The average person was worse off due to retracting tax exempt personals.
He inherited a 19 trillion debt which was reducing under Obama ( remember Obama had to deal with the sub-prime bank collapses) with a 5 billion surplus, and due to his disastrous tax cuts, created a massive deficit and increased the debt to 23 trillion before Covid. Eventually hitting 26 trillion.
Now, if an economy is doing well, surely a rt wing government pays off debts.
His disastrous handling of covid exacerbated the problem and killed hundreds of thousands. But no wars eh!
The Biden economy has now addressed inflation.
The stock market is at record levels, and unemployment is the lowest ever.
Secure border. His policies created panic and resulted in far more migrants attempting to get in before he built a wall.
The wall he never built.
Mentally competent.
Biden is a poor speaker but far more mentally competent than Trump.
Achieved more in 4 years in politics than Biden did in 53 years.
He achieved nothing but chaos.
America was great until he divided it.
He destroys everything he touches and everyone unfortunate enough to fall under his spell.
He simply gifts millions from fools who support him.
Since saying he was rich and didn`t need donors, he has done nothing but play golf and ask for more money.
No doubt you will respond with a length rebuttal so this is all I am saying on the matter.
This lot took me away from people I need to spend time with, more than I am willing to continue doing.

It is 4% now.
It was 3.5% under Trump before the pandemic hit.
It hit a low of 3.9% under Bush Jnr. in 2000.
3.4% in 1958 under LBJ.
2.5 in 1948 under Harry S. Truman in 1948.

I`ll ignore Trumps figure of 3.5% because it`s bollocks. Under him, folk were working several part time jobs on low wages to make ends meet and he counted zero hours contracts as employment.
1948. Hmm now what was that hot on the heels of? I wonder!

You said "unemployment is the lowest ever.""
It was 0.5% lower under Trump.
It was 0.1% lower under Bush Jnr.
It was 0.6% lower under LBJ.
It was 1.5% lower under Truman.

Biden has created real jobs.
Ignore whatever stats you want and replace them with your opinion, but I`ll stick with the stats.
People having two jobs does not impact the unemployment figures. 4% are out of work now 3.5% were out of work under Trump.
Quote:

Does it matter? If I was to go through them all you`d obviously just ignore the evidence and go back to opinion?

I`m not here to impress anyone, I picked one of your claims at random and it is clearly false with unemployment being lower at least 4 times in the past. tradingeconomics.com was the first hit on google, i did`nt have to go results mining to disprove your claim.

Look, I get it. Trump enduces derangement in many people, but there is no reason to take on so PARrot. Console yourself in the fact that once he serves his second term it will be the end of his time as President and perhaps someone who does not have this effect on you will take over....probably.

This thread pretty much shows what`s wrong with politics these days. Everyone is so entrenched in their own little side that they don`t even look to find middle ground or acknowledge where the other side has a good point. It`s depressing
The situation in America is the same here. We are given two choices and told it`s democracy. Whichever side we vote for makes no difference, they are just puppets for those running the show. It suits them that everyone is taking sides. Like it actually matters

So you can`t respond to facts other than picking me up on a 0.1% error. Hmmm let`s ignore everything else and get our nickers in a twist about 0.1%.
You said you were done with our conversation, I`m not going to go to the bother of responding to all your claims if as you say "you were done".
I`m not sure where you are getting the 0.1% error thing from.
You said "unemployment is the lowest ever.""
It was 0.5% lower under Trump.
It was 0.1% lower under Bush Jnr.
It was 0.6% lower under LBJ.
It was 1.5% lower under Truman.
Your claim was demonstrably false. I picked one of your claims at random and that is what I found.
Quote:
I`ll ignore Trumps figure of 3.5% because it`s bollocks. Under him, folk were working several part time jobs on low wages to make ends meet and he counted zero hours contracts as employment.
Biden has created real jobs.
Ignore whatever stats you want and replace them with your opinion, but I`ll stick with the stats.
People having two jobs does not impact the unemployment figures. 4% are out of work now 3.5% were out of work under Trump.
Quote:
Can you explain to me how picking up on this paltry issue means everything else I wrote was lies?
Does it matter? If I was to go through them all you`d obviously just ignore the evidence and go back to opinion?
Quote:
I`m surprised at you. Despite not agreeing with you much I have always thought you presented your thought well.
You fecked this up.
I`m not here to impress anyone, I picked one of your claims at random and it is clearly false with unemployment being lower at least 4 times in the past. tradingeconomics.com was the first hit on google, i did`nt have to go results mining to disprove your claim.
You said it was "all you were saying on the matter", even that was not true.
Look, I get it. Trump enduces derangement in many people, but there is no reason to take on so PARrot. Console yourself in the fact that once he serves his second term it will be the end of his time as President and perhaps someone who does not have this effect on you will take over....probably.
Go and spend the time with the people you need to for goodness sake, I`ll leave you with the last word on this subject if that helps you to do it, so go on take your best swing. I hope it gives you the closure you need.
You don`t get it. You haven`t got a clue, and you do relentlessly try your damdest to impress on here. Failed miserably this time, though. Keep on about your 0.1% margin as if it is significant and detracts from the points I made correcting your garbage.
BTW you understand the population of USA is a bit more than when Truman and LBJ were around, right?
Despite all I said, I believe he is going to win a second term. I don`t know how it will work out, but somehow, he will be back to do what he has to do. Thanks for allowing me the last word.
Very thoughtful of you.
Oops there I go again, responding. I`m just such a horrible liar.

I am very much middle of the road. I can live comfortably with moderates on both sides. Far left or far right and wannabe dictators are beyond my acceptance radar, though.
Having said that, I have some crazy Trump and conspiracy theory fans for family and friends in Canada, who I love dearly. They are very decent people.
The situation in America is not the same as here. It is far more serious and will have a catastrophic global impact. I can`t see how to stop it, though. Trump has fractured the country, possibly beyond repair.

I think normally that is true. We have a Uni Party either side of the pond.
Clinton v Bush snr - No difference.
Bush Jnr v Al Gore - No Difference.
Major v Blair - No Difference.
Brown v Cameron - No Difference.
Sunak v Starmer - No Difference.
But Trump is different, he drives the deep state mental, the whole swamp came together to bring him down. I think it was the same with Corbyn and Farage over here.
Every now and then a marketplace disruptor comes along who is not part of the swamp, who won`t fund their phoney wars in Iraq, Libya, Ukraine, The Yemen etc, who they don`t have kompromat on.
Biden and Starmer get in the WEF globalists are happy, Trump and Farage get in Klaus Schwab and his cohorts lose their influence.
One thing is certain Biden is not making any decisions, he is a patsy for the people who are making the decisions, before the debate it would be labelled "a conspiracy theory" or "Misinformation" and "disinformation".
In a few short months the globalists could lose power in the USA, UK and France, or they could win all 3.
We will just have to wait to see if their "election fortification" is enough this time.

Not convinced - I’m sure we would have heard about it by now, the compensation would surely dwarf that paid by P.A. - and there would likely be loads on the bandwagon

I despise him, but I`m not going to listen to every accusation against him.
Not sure about this one.

I mean a guy who openly paid hush money to a porn star to keep an affair quiet it is not surprising this has come out.
Remember when people didn’t go after Saville and Harris because they were seemingly “nice” people - well Trump is knowingly horrendous, so why people want to wait for a trial, which will never happen, is mental.

Not heard much about this new Trump story, so had a quick look at twitter. Seems like half the people believe this unsubstantiated rumour and think it`s true and a court case would be a waste of time and he should be slung in the slammer straight away. The other half think it`s nonsense and there is no way any of it could be true, but are putting up the counter argument that Biden shared a shower and bed with his then teenage daughter

There is no such rumour.
His daughter mentioned in her journal that she was oversexualised as a teenager and suggested it might be partly because she shared a shower with her father.
No mention at any time of sharing a bed.
She never said how old she was with the shower.
No heed at any age, but many liberal minded folk do the same.
If there was anything in this at all Much more would have been made of it by the Trumpski666 campaign.

The obvious person to run and have a convincing shot of beating Trump is Michelle Obama but I believe she doesn’t want anything to do with politics anymore.
The public would back her though if she did.

I`m not convinced Harris will be the nominee, she polls lover than Biden nationally approval with only 32%.
She seems to be slightly more popular in Virginia, but that isn`t really a battleground state and the Democrats should win it.
The other battleground states Trump maintains or increases his lead. She has an increase among black voters, but that seems to be wiped out by disaffected Republicans coming home when Biden is replaced by her.
Maybe a good VP pick could increase her chances or if she makes it as far as the debates although she performed poorly when running for president in 2020 polling about 3%.
Tulsi Gabbard destroyed her on the debate stage, I don`t see Trump holding back any should they ever meet there.
I think it`s no better than 50-50 she ends up the democrat nominee.
