After the Lithuanian`s had a rather successful euro 96 campaign he was spotted by future PSV trainer Bobby Robson, who was set to take over from Dick Advocaat the following season. He made his PSV debut against Michael Mols Ultrecht in 1997 under Advocaat. Then the move to Dunfermline in the summer of 2000 came along since when he has made over 100 appearances for the Pars scoring two goals, one in the Scottish cup against Celtic. He received a number of Player of the Year awards at the end of season 2000/1 and won the official club player of the year.

His national career is currently on hold, due to a brief bad patch with the national manager, but so far Andrius has earned 33 caps for Lithuania
