Kane being out is a massive loss. Hopefully it’s just an illness as there are plenty viruses going about at the moment. Unfortunately that makes things a lot harder tonight as he brings so much to the team with the way he holds up the ball for others. Personally, I’d rather have Moffat starting over Summers. At least Moffat tries to get stuck in.

It was a shocking game. The only thing you can say is that extends our away run to one defeat in seven games and if you had offered four points from these two games beforehand, we would have taken it

Results elsewhere didn`t go our way but we didn`t concede despite the best efforts of that referee. Similar to last season, the issue is getting much needed goals. Need to get the chances to the strikers. If Jak had got that shot...or if we`d been given that penalty! Maybe used up all our luck on Friday!

Dire and terrible football !
I thought the players would have been well up for this tonight after beating Partick , but proved wrong
That tonight would get football stopped
only two things of note was Deniz saving the penalty and us managing to get a point !
Forgot to mention I Actually think we should have got a penalty but from that excuse of a ref we had no chance

Result looks worse than it is with other results not quite going our way.
But before going into these past two games if we were offered four points from it think we would’ve snapped it up.
ICT was always going to be a tricky one as we really couldn’t afford to lose tonight.

It`s a better point for us than it is for Caley. According to the mBBC they had one shot on goal which must have been the pen. We had none but surely Jakubiak`s attempt just before half-time was at least on target?

That was a poor watch our midfield completely mis- fired. There did look to be a strong wind blowing across the pitch which made control difficult but ICT seemed to win 80% of the headers and second balls . Our best players were all in defence.

At least we didn’t lose but the results tonight don’t help us and a win would have gave us some much needed breathing space. I really hope we bring in another one or two before the window closes. Unfortunately Holmes seems to be struggling with the step up. I just hope McCann and Kane aren’t serious.

Welch-Hayes played well first half. Looked like a decent enough RB. Wee bit rusty at times, but nothing major. We switched to 3-5-2 at HT and Welch-Hayes and MFW looked a lot less comfortable than they did in the first half. We also lost any attacking threat and completely lost the midfield with that switch.

thought it was the wrong line up and setup in the first half, no width and the midfield couldnt cope with their setup and something had to change. second half wasnt much better but overall two poor teams, zero quality on show, take the point and run.

Despite the penalty we looked more likely to score first half and nearly did. The game looked like it was played more in the Inverness half,
Like for like Allan is a more productive player than chalmers.
Mcpake seems to favour 3 at the back. I suspect its because he believes in packing the midfield in our favour.
The down side to that is if they get behind the wingbacks it pulls a CB out wide.
3 games unbeaten is not to be sniffed at. Its only a good thing if we pick up points in our next game.
Excellent stop by mehmet, along with the dundee utd save he has won us at least 2 points this season.

A dire game in difficult conditions not helped by poor refereeing. The penalty was very soft and justice was done with Mehmet`s save, he has some issues with crosses, but the guy for me is definitely above average for this division with his reflexes and shot stopping. Jak should have buried our only clear chance, he`s got to be aware of the defender on the line and either hit the corner, or go with more power and height. It was a typical performance from him, his general play was good, but he`s a striker and his finishing has to be more clinical.
Defensively we were fine, the main danger was set plays, and although we lost most of the first contacts, there was nobody left unchallenged, this was the difference. 3 at the back helped reduce the space Inverness had out wide first half, so good to see McPake making a positive change again. We offered very little going forward, our main danger first half was McCann`s runs in behind, hope his injury is not serious.
Allan and Otoo were both quite poor and in fairness to Chalmers, on this occasion he was an improvement, getting on the ball more and making more challenges. Moffat looked sharp and put in a great ball near the end which deserved a goal if someone had really attacked it. Welch-Hayes was another positive I thought.
Not a disastrous point, but it`s time to perform at EEP now.

And here`s another. If we had lost the game, we`d be 9th now. As it stands, ICT have to win one game more than us to finish above us next May,
Agree we need to take a minimum of 4 points from our next two games.

Our home form has to improve or we will struggle to avoid 9th.
It`ll also give the home fans something to be happy about,its horrible watching a team consistently lose or struggle, Pars fans aren`t the most patient but I think we are appreciative when we win and that transforms into confidence on the pitch.
