 Mcpake must go!!

We are running around in circles….we won’t improve until Mcpake is gone, should have been out the door weeks ago. His record is absolutely abysmal.

Absolutely should have gone before giving the money to bring more players in at the start of the season.

This squad is murder, full of decent league 1 players with only a handful of championship level players who quite frankly don’t seem to fancy it.

Worrying times indeed

Backed him for a while now but almost out of suppport now. Setting up not to get beat instea of actively trying to win games in league like this is bewildering.

We are absolutely dreadful to watch and if we conceed the first goal it`s almost a foregone conclusion how it will end up.

Mcpake is taking us down alongside the Germans and our so called local businessmen that claim to be decision makers. This is a farce now and only thing keeping us off bottom is a rank rotten airdrie team. Fans should vote with their feet as time is up for this clown and his no2 bag boy

Only 1400 fans at Falkirk today says it all. It’s pathetic how far we’ve fallen and it all comes down to the board and how the manager sets the team up. Tuesday is an extremely important game but I can’t see us doing any damage to Livingston.

I`d rather extend McPakes contract than give Bullen the gig

Absolutely time to go now. Won’t watch another minute of this sh*te with him in charge. Far too loyal to the likes of KRH (who was actually starting to get involved in the game before he was subbed), Wighton & McCann. We looked far more dangerous when mebude & cooper came on.

Him walking off at the end and leaving his players to take the flak sums him up. A coward and a clown. OUT!

Got to hand it to Falkirk. The football they played in the first half was a real treat to watch. The running off the ball & bringing players into the game with quick decisive passing. This is how football should be played.

We don’t know what our best team is?
Matty Todd should be playing the last 30 mins not the first 45 - completely anonymous.
KRH is coming onto a game & gets hooked?
Playing Wighton - What’s the point.

It’s rinse & repeat every week.

Yes I want McPake gone, he’s ran out of ideas & he doesn’t know how to turn this around.

GTF McPake

I’ve all been for giving him a chance etc….but we’re at the stage now where we don’t even look like a team that has any idea what there meant to be doing.

Another loss to Livi on Tuesday and Partick will be rubbing here hands on Saturday.

I’d he doesn’t go tonight and we lose the next 2 he’s gonna have to get punted.

We have been quiet given the off field ownership issues which are also now quiet and not a word said.

Mcpake shouldn’t be pars manager however most off us have accepted due to the nonsense off contracts in football (unlike rest of the working universe) we can’t afford to sack him

It’s just 2 more salaries to get Murray and his assistant in, mcpake and dave can go on garden leave.

What’s the alternative, attendances dwindle while fans find something, anything better to do on a Saturday while we slide back to league 1.

Tbf to mcpake he’s decent at building good league 1 teams, he’s built another one this year.

I remember thinking when we came back from 3-0 against Airdrie to win 4-3 that we had a proper manager……how wrong was I.

Saw the team selection today and was baffled.

McPake has had long enough and there are no signs of improvement.

I would give him two more games. No more.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

It`s likely we`d lose to Livi regardless. We need fresh thinking. I`m sure McPake is a good guy and a decent manager but it`s just not working. I`d be interested in Murray but also someone from outside the Scottish manager merry go round.

Not necessarily always slow but definitely don`t appreciate that fewer punters showing up and lower league positions mean less money. The problem of course is a new manager doesn`t guarantee on pitch success. Just look at Ferguson at Inverness as an example or the new guy at Raith.

I salute the faithful that follow the pars, regardless, but sadly…I haven’t been to a single game this season. Gladly paid for 2 season tickets…but am at the stage in my life where I want something to look forward to on a Saturday afternoon and I just can’t suffer what has been going on over at EEP, for the last few years, anymore.
To be honest, I’m not even sure what DAFC is anymore; dressing room seems to have a revolving door and the performances on the field are more theatrical than competitive sport … players seem to be given a role to play and they either can’t or don’t want to deviate from it … just don’t see any initiative, passion or inspiration. It simply looks like a bunch of blokes going through the motions and whatever deal their agent cuts next season will determine what strip they’ll be pulling on.
For me, not worth turning up for.

Club is rotten to the core from top to bottom, total joke. We had areal chance after admin to establish ourselves as a top championship/lower prem side after a few years of building. The mismanagement from owners has been terrible. From managerial appointments to transfers it’s been a disgrace. Our record in the transfer window is as bad as it gets the last 3/4 years, signing utter dross every window who don’t have a club for a reason. As for McPake, he might be the biggest joke of all. Hasn’t a clue, team look like they don’t have a clue every time they step onto the park. His record at this level is abysmal, no manager in Britain survives the run he’s been out. But all we’ll hear is we csnt afford to sack him. Joke club

First off all I don`t rate mcpake as a manager. But.....this season we`ve drew with Ayr. Beat rovers. Should have beat airdrie. Dominated morton. An unlucky deflected own goal yesterday. Shots cleared off the line. Etc etc
Team selection is questionable every game we play and no matter how the game is going he cant seem to change the way we play. We put long high balls into krh and he`s never going to win any off them against anyone. Wighton should not be playing at this level yet starts every game when he`s seemingly fit. Whats sutherland and cooper got to do to get a start..
I cant see them getting rid of mcpake any time soon but I hope I`m wrong. Seems like Davie hay allover again and every other **** manager we`ve had. We seem to wait till it`s too late to try and change things

Cmon ye pars

I don`t think I`ve really posted on any of the `mcfake`, `mcpake out` type threads, not because I`m the most patient fan but because it doesn`t help more and more people piling in going over the same ground. The time has come though.

As an analytically minded person it`s now become really really hard to find any statistic to back keeping James McPake. You could somewhat ignore statistics and excuse a lack of results and goals if there was an attractive style of play with games were being decided on a knife edge, or if there were periods of nice play but no consistency. That is not the case.

If I were a player in this team, one who had grown up loving `the beautiful game`, I`d hear the team selection/tactics and my heart would sink. McPake shouting, `PLAY PLAY PLAY` and the way they are to `PLAY`, is pass it side to side until a space magically appears. His slow cautious approach would be fine if we started with attacking intent, got a few goals, then switched to see out the result but that`s not the case. Creative players are wasted under him.

The club and fans have been incredibly patient but it`s time to go.

I think in this league 80% of the time two goals in a game will win it. We have to set ourselves up to score 2 goals every game. Not an insurmountable objective in my view. Worry less about the opposition think more about our performance and target

Thinking about McPake`s tenure;
First season OK. Worthy winners of League 1, not great flair style of play but team showed a lot of spirit and togetherness.
Second season a struggle. Worst season we`ve ever experienced for injuries. Not even Jock Stein would have had a good season.
This season. Most of the injuries had cleared up, we lost 13 players (including loans) from last year`s squad (bloated due to the players signed to cover injuries) opening the door to getting in half a dozen good Championship level players and kicking on to mount a title challenge. Instead he is allowed to sign 3 (Kane, Wotherspoon and Ngwenya) then nothing. In the GMBH selling up statement on 15 August they make the jaw-dropping comment that they realise the squad has to be strengthened so at a board meeting on 12 August resources were made available to management. What a wasted opportunity. Doing in mid August what they should have done at the end of May basically consigned the management team to look for signings in the football market equivalent of Primark.
So not all McPake`s fault but it doesn`t excuse the League Cup fiasco, although IMO the players were as much to blame as McPake. And, as others have said, more worrying is that there are no real signs that we are shaping into a settled team with a clear pattern of play. Every game seems like a new start. That has to be down to the coaching.
The sell up statement was more than 3 months` ago and they did say that there were interested parties. You would like to think that there would be serious discussions taking place by now and something is going to break soon. It doesn`t make sense to bring in a new manager now if the new owners aren`t on board with it but there`s no doubt (and he`ll know it too) that he has reached the stage of trying to save his job by the time the sale takes place.

Last news on investors was that 4 parties had signed NDA’s and were looking over the clubs books. That was a few weeks ago now and I don’t have any further insight on it

Snoop Dogg and Anders Holsch Povlsen are no doubt 2 of the interested parties

I’ve no idea who the investors are but whoever is touting snoop dogg is pulling your wire mate
