Fogarty was announced in the NI U21 squad last week. So we’re down to Benedictus and Hamilton as our only CB options for the Livi game…

Good to see players getting recognition, but it’s not great for our chances of picking up points next weekend.

Hopefully Hampton gets called up to the Welsh U21 and we can request a postponement.

Crazy to think that we have let three CH’s go out on loan and will have two more unavailable for the Livi game. Sure Hamilton and Otoo can and have played there before but it surely would have been prudent to have only loaned out only two of the three? Sam Young should have stayed imho..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I don’t think Sam young is even getting a game there. I wonder if he could be recalled….

he has been playing and could be recalled but he wouldnt be eligible to play for us again this season so it would be pointless to do it.

Young has started 5 of the 6 games Forfar have had over a 21 day spell.

He came on as a sub in the last game, so I`m guessing that`s where the perception that he`s not playing comes from.

Given the amount of travelling he must be doing, especially as 5 of those matches were away from home, I would hope they are managing his game time.

That may have come from me as I was checking the starting line ups from the BBC team lines and wasn’t showing the name Young on these team lines in defence but rather in attack.

Imagine being punished for signing players who are good enough to represent their countries. The irony is that one replaced the other in the starting line-up.

Tidser in his pre match interview says Owen Hampson had been called up for the Welsh U21 so that’s 3 called up.

Wonder if we’ll try to get the game rescheduled.

think they will ask but its not a guarantee the league will agree and move the game.

While technically they don`t have to agree, it would be unusual if they didn`t. I can`t remember a time when they haven`t? They`ve even postponed games for the Premiership B teams in the trust trophy for international call ups.

Rule G7 says that a club can request it, but it`s ultimately up to the league to agree to it or not. But with four platers away, including two starters, one who`d have been a replacement for one missing and another who would be in the squad, I can`t see them not allowing it.

Not sure about Raymond but it seems the games the other three have been chosen for are friendlies. The club are being very generous in allowing these players to be released. Surely we have to appeal for a postponement of the Livi game?

We wouldn`t be stopping him playing by asking for a postponement. Anyway, as per the other thread, the match v Livi has been postponed until Wednesday 2 April.

Put at risk by our manager , with a centre half on the bench. Tidser what was he and the medical team thinking .

There`s a lot to criticise the management for, this isn`t one of them.

It was a couple of cuts, which looked far worse than they were due to the blood. It showed second half that they were fine once cleaned up.

Claiming he was "put at risk" is poor chat IMO.

Bit of an exaggeration me thinks. There was no risk to Mullen only to the team by having 10 men for a few minutes.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I was worried when I saw the blood on his hands and thought the worst but he was cleaned up properly at half time and was fine to come back on. He’ll get checked again anyway.

Thought he showed spirit tonight and kept going despite his injuries.

Don`t agree at all. If he had been concussed he would have been off. He didn`t look bad at all after half time.

Great attitude. He could easily have asked to be subbed.
I agree that he won’t be here next season. I’m sure his agent will get him a better gig.

I`d add Comrie, but JCM was clearly our best player. And has been since he signed.

I`d imagine the option we have on him would depend on what division we are in, otherwise he shouldve been locked in well before now...

Was clearly our best player last night.
And although it was an accidental clash we were at a disadvantage being down to 10 men whilst he was being treated on the sideline. Maybe the SPFL or SFA should look at bringing in Blood Substitutes. If a player needs to go off to be treated for a blood wound, then a temporary sub comes on in his place until the wound is treated. If the wound is not treated within 15 minutes, the sub then stays on for the remainder of the game.

It’s incredible how so many players have regressed since Tidser became manager. I’m thinking about Otoo in particular.

It’s ridiculous that we have 4 players away on international duty but we either don’t play them or can’t get a tune out of them. It tells me scouting is spot on but Tidser could not work out how to properly fit them in. Their international managers obviously rate them.

Is it time to play Mullen and Fogerty at CH and leave Bene on the bench.
