Fantastic result. Defended well in the second half but really should have been defending a 2 goal lead after Adamโs miss in the first. Greece will still be extremely dangerous at Hampden but weโve got the advantage. They have a fantastic record in Greece which shows how amazing an achievement this is. Hanley and Ralston who are fringe players at their club were fantastic. Ralston was my man of the match tonight.
Looking at the World Cup, our group looks extremely tough - Portugal/Denmark and Greece are a nightmare group. The young 17 year old for Greece looks a superb talent.

As to the game itself, we wonโt have an easier first half in terms of chances. It should have been 3-0
Second half we knew what was coming and defended brilliantly but crucially looked comfortable on the ball breaking away from defence.
Wasnโt a penalty I agree. Scott rolled his foot over the ball but we will take it.
Enough to suggest we can get a win on Sunday but more importantly not fear Greece in the World Cup qualifiers
I do hope Portugal get through though.
Much rather Denmark in our group.

Great result but Greece will be very dangerous opponents at Hampden.
We were excellent first half but were completely dominated SH.
I worry about our central midfield. We all know what McGinn ( spent a lot of time on his backside tonight ) Gilmour( thought he had a poor game overall ) and McTomminay can do but apart from them who else do we have? Ferguson ? Not sure about him at this level yet.
We had ten outfield subs but not one quality centre mid.. letโs hope none of the above get injured in WC qualifiers..
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Would say Midfield is our strongest area in the squad. Funnily enough the weakest one IMO you havenโt even mentioned is McLean. Lennon Miller was on the bench and Christie will be back Sunday too after being suspended last night.

An early goal would be ideal tonight.
Would mean Greece would have to open right up and leave plenty space to counter on them.
Donโt see us just sitting in for 90mins holding onto a 1 goal lead, that would be ridiculous.
Fancy us to win 2-1 on the night and 3-1 aggregate.

A massive challenge ahead, home or not. I fancy Greece will score at least 1 so it`ll be u to us to score more. I`d have Nisbet up front as he`s on a hot streak and I`ve never seen in Adams what the manager does.
That`s why he gets the big bucks I suppose.

Steve Clarke has done a good job for us but seems to bottle it when it really matters. Tonight, both Euros, Ukraine for the World Cup. He gets us to decent positions but always fails miserably at the final hurdle. We would never be able to come back from 1 down and score 3 away from home. The second half performance has been embarrassing. Hanley should be nowhere near the qualification campaign but you know heโll still be at the heart of the defence.
We are so easy to defend against when chasing a game. Iโd rather we play McKenna over Hanley and give Conway a run of games leading the line. Heโs proved his capable at Bristol. Also fingers crossed we can attract Chris Brady as our new goalkeeper as the other options are shockingly bad.

I hope this is the last game for a few of these players in a Scotland Shirt !
Absolutely guff , For me Clarke cannot get a tune out of this lot his stint is over , its like watching the Pars tippy tappy at the back and giving the ball away
This lot have never looked like scoring and we all know this has been the problem for Scotland for many a year ,
No wonder the crowd are booing , Shows just when you think Scotland have turned a corner they give us an inept performance all too familiar

Very few of our players look comfortable in possession, even McGinn and McTomminay were giving it away too easily. Just a rubbish performance from every player.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

That 2nd half was the most embarrassing display I have ever seen from a football side. These canโt possibly be the best we have to offer. They completely shat themselves and looked nothing more than disinterested. Some of our so-called big players need dropped. Mcginn, Robertson, Adams. One or two shouldnโt play for Scotland again.

Think itโs time for Steve Clarke to call it a day and move on. Embarrassing performance, no goal threat and schoolboy defending.
Thanks for the memories but a change is needed.
Why was Christie, who done nothing, put back in ahead of Ferguson who done well in Greece?

You could have easily imagined Tidser was managing that side tonight. For that reason alone, SC should go.

How refreshing is it to see a team playing with such freedom as Greece did since half time on Thursday night?
They moved the ball quickly, exploited spaces and worked hard for each other right till the end tonight.

You can criticise the squad selection but unfortunately these are the best players who were available. It speaks volumes for the lack of attacking wide players that Tierney was brought on when we went three goals down. I don`t think any of our key players performed to anything like their normal standard. Why that happens, goodness knows, but I didn`t think we started the game with enough urgency or intensity.

Don`t agree that Clarke has done well . I reckon he`s been incredibly lucky . Got big breaks that gave made his managerial record look better than it really is . Time gor a change .

Clarke needs to go now. Every big game we donโt show up and same shower of sh*te gets a game. That 2nd half was like watching the Pars but even more frustrating knowing the ability on the park. His time is up ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

Yes,think he has to go .We need to have our standards lifted with a coach, with more forward, higher level ideas. We are stuck in a rut, coaching wise. Mmm,that idea sounds familiar!

That cost me to take the family, including food, about ยฃ230. Ticket prices have doubled in 5 years. SFA can wave bye bye to full houses and we can go back to the grim old days unless they bin that utter clown. How many managers on the planet, when looking to put Christie back in, would not drop the Norwich player playing his position, but instead play Christie out of position and drop the Bologna captain.
He should`ve been sacked after the Euros, and sacked again for his attitude when he went into hiding.

Totally agree regarding McLean and Ferguson.
IF any changes should have been made for last night then Ferguson wasnโt the one who shouldโve been dropped.

June is massive now, if we go 180 mins vs Iceland/Liechenstein friendlies and still seeing Gordon/Hanley/Mclean getting 45/90mins then we need to question if Clarke really is taking us forwards. some real talent available that deserve a chance.

Would like to see Lennon Miller given a run of games in the June matches, a midfielder Gilmour, Lennon and Ferguson would be good to see.
Striker wise aswell Hirst appears to be next in the pecking order and wouldnโt mind him getting a lot more game time aswell.
Agree with Gordon, we need to start giving the next in line a chance to gel with the team in regards to match experiences.

Agreed, these are the games to blood in a refresh to the team. I`d want to see the likes of Miller etc start at the very least against Leichenstein
