Will be watching with interest, would maybe do better at a club like Arbroath if he manages to stay in the championship but perhaps most likely to move down a level for regular football.
He’ll get a club no problem, certainly works hard enough, best of luck to him.

Has all the attributes to play at a high level but just never clicked.
Personally would have kept him on but can also see why he’s been let go.
Be a few sides who would be willing to sign him up I’d imagine so I’ll hang off on the best wishes until we see who he signs for

Knowing our foregoing experience, he`ll probably be scoring hat tricks against us soon. Oops that sounds as if I`m drenched in my own negativity 😅 (a line that dot netters will recognise). All the very best Lewis ( but not when you play against us).

Best of luck to him. I think there is a very good player inside of him and a change of club is probably what`s best for him. I can see him staying in the championship. Hopefully he plays mince against us.
We need a new direct free kick artist now. I think I read that Connor Young is decent with dead ball situation 🤔.

Strange one given club were providing rehab facilities to then be let go? I assume that’s because a team has offered him a contract, Martindale was glowing in his praise earlier in the season. Who knows??

A new direct free kick artist? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 apart from his free kick against Queen’s Park I must have missed all his other worldly free kicks can you enlighten me as to what they were?

Wish Lewis all the best. Think it was the right move for all parties to go their separate ways. He’s had a tough time with injuries, but you can’t fault his work rate. Hopefully he gets himself fully fit and finds a club where he can really kick on.

Free Kick artist….brilliant.
He hit one free kick that was a worldie, the rest I don’t even think ever hit the target.

Personally, I`d like to have seen Lewis McCann as a Pars player for another year to see if ange-ball greatly improved his goal and assist counts. (Assuming Neil Lennon is going to have the Pars play ange-ball.)

It`s an agreed parting of ways. It doesn`t necessarily make him a bad player. I suspect more NL has a way he wants to play, and he is not the type of player he wants. Further, it may be because he has others lined up to fill the role.
His style of play will no doubt suit other clubs.
For Lewis MCann, at his age, he has to be looking to push on in his career, and a change is as good as a rest.

The Wee Teams fans saying they would welcome Lewis McCann. They are also upset that Dyan Easson is being mentined as EEP bound. Lets hope they are correct with Easson, he iives in Dunfermine.

Good luck at your new club Lewis, maybe not the most prolific goal scorer, but no one could fault his work rate and also commitment to the club. Sorry to see you go and wish you all the best in the future.

As much as it would excite me, and I’d love to see it happen, I do have my doubts. Aside from what’s been floating around on X and P&B, I haven’t seen anything concrete suggesting we’re actually in for him.
If the Wee Team really want McCann, they’re welcome to him… but I’m not getting into that debate all over again.

I thought the rumour was that he`d knocked back a deal? The Press has this quote:
The club commented: "Both the club and Lewis feel it’s the right time for him to pursue a new challenge..."
Which is a slightly odd way to put it, if it was entirely the club`s decision.

I met Dylan Easton in Edinburgh airport 2.5 weeks ago and was chatting with him after he noticed my Dunfermline top, told me Neil Lennon had been in touch with his agent but Dylan said it would take a “substantial offer” to come here. He could have been ripping the p*** to though

Kirkcaldy is only 14 miles away. I dont think where he lives will affect any decisions.

I`m sure there is a budget to work to. We need experienced players around 25-27 who have experience and nearing their peak scattered with the odd more experienced pro who is still eager to play

I’ve mentioned on another post the fact the squad is back in today, I’d like to think we’ll be more likely announcing some players over the next week or so.
I think the squad we currently have is worse than the one that finished the season.

Not sure there`s a need for that, can we aim for a better standard of discussion on here? We`re all responsible.
Notwithstanding the fact we are weaker at this moment in time. But as the poster says, we`ll be strengthening over the next few weeks.

Shame to see McCann go but I don`t think the Pars are/were the right club for him. He needs an experienced and consistent manager/coach. How many did we get through in his career?!
