Thought Mehmet, made a couple good saves to keep us in the game, and also for his confidence.
John Tod has been a real eye opener, looks like a first team player already, and so young!
Otoo was really involved too, Gilmour is going to get plenty MOM this season.

I know he came on too late to get mom but I thought Keith Bray looked good when he come on.
John Tod or Gilmore other stand outs for me, young lads up front got kicked to pieces. Don’t know how Andrew Tod was still able to stand at end of match.

John Tod was poor in the first half ,along with the other 10 , second half slightly better, Andrew Tod was man of the match because he scored which none of the rest of the team looked capable off.

Have to agree about otto,he had plenty of the ball but did nothing ,so many opertunities to cross into the box but decided on not doing so and passing to a player a few feet away

John Tod for me, looks as good if not better than Mullen.
Potential Scotland U21 pairing at CH?
Before the season started I was expecting both Tod brothers would be sent out on loan to gain experience but both are physically up to the challenge.
From what I have seen they will be an integral part of our 1st team squad.

MacLeod and Bray certainly brought a bit of energy and enthusiasm when they came on. Gilmour is going to be the anchor in midfield although I think he lost a tackle today - the only one I can remember in the last three games! Andrew Tod could be one of those invaluable players - a non-striker who can score goals regularly.
I`d find it hard to pick someone out as the team only played well in the second half but I`d like to say Bene has been excellent in the last three games and has lead by example despite the dark cloud which must be hanging over him just now.

I was thinking similar watching the game today.
John Tod only turned 18 in May. If Chilokoa-Mullin has played for Scotland U19 and U21 then someone should be looking at Tod, at least for the U19s.

K76 and Jeffrey, out of interest how can you say John Todd is physically up for the challenge? Has he ever played a game against a club in our league which as we know is chock full of big physical experienced players.
He’s done well in the 3 wins but they have been against 2 part time league 2 teams and a league 1 team which has been largely gutted due to financial issues.
Let’s see how these guys are doing after a fair few championship games, same with Andrew tod, the standard in the championship is a massive jump.

League 1 & 2 is still adult football with men and not children unlike you.
John did ok against Hearts which is full adult football in Scotland.

It`s Tod.
I was only commenting on today`s performance not his physical ability in a different competition.
Not a clue if he`ll be decent in the championship but it seems he`ll play a part.
He won headers against a big strong striker who looked about 6`4" today, so it`s possible.

Berkey always has reservations about players who maybe haven`t played at a higher level. I find that odd because I would have thought someone who likes to assess players` strengths and weaknesses would have a pretty strong opinion on whether he thinks they are capable of coping with a higher standard. NL, like all managers, has to make these judgements every time he looks at a potential signing from a lower league or maybe even from a different country. He doesn`t have the luxury of deferring a decision until he sees the player performing at the required level. It`s the main difference between an `armchair` manager and a `dug-out` manager.

Agree with Berkey (& Socks comments on the match thread) on J Tod.
The boys young and he’s got a bright future ahead of him but think we need to temper expectations a little.
I wasn’t blown away by his performance, certainly not MOTM, he tripped, made a dodgy pass, one of Stirlings chances was a cross that he let go past him and failed to deal with which Mehmet saved.
He had one good run forward with the ball which was positive and the rest of the game his passing was better but we were under very little pressure.
If I go back to the Hamilton game, thought he should’ve won the ball from Shaw before he scored.
He’s definitely not better than Mullen right now, he’s gone through a bit of a rough patch granted but thought he was better of the two today, got the winner for us at Hamilton and was excellent for us last season.
He’s a really good prospect and will benefit from these run outs but I don’t think we should be relying on him as a starter in the league at the moment though.

Gilmour hasn’t put a foot wrong since he joined us. He might turn out to be the signing of the season. I think him and Amade are a perfect pairing. While I give him MOM … Bene too has been excellent and is much needed with two youngsters beside him.
