A.Tod, Cooper and Bray front three then I imagine. That’s a nippy front three - will need a bit of physicality in midfield … can see Amade, Gilmour with Oakley all starting. Otoo and Kearney either side and defence picks itself.
Deniz now he has competition has to start - he has made one mistake in 4 games.

Deniz
Chiko Mullen. Bene. JTod

Kearney Oakley Amade Gilmour Otoo
Bray. Cooper
ATod.

Coventry.
That would indeed be an interesting starting line up, seeing as you’ve picked 12 players. Bold move if we can get away with it.

Think you are mostly right tho except bray will drop out, with amade and Gilmore being the sitting midfielders, Oakley booth playing more advanced behind A.Tod and cooper. Goalie might not be Mehmet.

Think we’re in for a tough ride today, no striker (didn’t realise Young was out) and in general look very light up top.

Making the journey through regardless, take a scrappy awful 1-0 win.

If Young is out then I would rather see Bray in for TOB as Bray has goals in him…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Isn`t it Sam Young who is out rather than Connor?

Coventrypars line up confused me for a second then I realised he’s starting 12.

If that’s the case I think we have a better chance today.

Happily take a draw also, no Kane and first day away fixture.

Oz, I want three points. If we want to be serious about competing at the top of the table you need to be looking to beat teams like Morton. I get we still have players to come in and all that but still….

I want 3 pts, but a draw wouldn`t be a disaster. If we average 4 pts for every 2 games we`d end up with 72. That would perhaps win the league more often than not.

So. We`ll be a bit limp up front. Maybe Coops will save the day or a first goat for another players, A defender banging in front a corner or midfielders to step up and help with goals. I`ll take a draw as capilow hasn`t been a happy hunting ground of late.

Be interesting to see if Kearney creates a good amount of chances from wide right, we really need creativity going forward

4 pts in our first two games would be decent consideriing we`re still short in key areas.

Given Kane`s out and our striker options are limited, a draw wouldn`t be a bad point. Sneak a 1-0 win and you`d have to be delighted

There’s been an accident on the M8 near Harthill - slow moving traffic if you’re in it going to Greenock. Take care folks.

My team was close.

KRH in for Kearney and Boothe in for Amade.

I see MOH starts for Morton with Brophy on the bench.

Our bench shows the obvious lack of striking options.

£100k spent on Kearney to give KRH the shirt for the opening game. 1 out and out striker in the squad.

Its not looking like the improved squad we were expecting. Hopefully they pull off a result :)

Going to be interesting, had expected more of the new signings to come in. Big endorsements for those who struggled last season (Krh and boothe especially) and a massive step up for the tod brothers.

Is todd injured or just left out, if just left out he’ll be away before the window closes.

Would take a point today.

I thought it looked like Kearney got clattered against Stirling so maybe still carrying a knock.

Disappointed Kearney not starting. He’s been a big upgrade on KRH in my opinion.

TOB has done nothing to suggest he should be starting over Amade and likewise KRH over Kearney. But in any case hoping that`s the team that works and they can get the positive result!

I came across a Greenock pentecostal pastor outside the ground who prophesied a draw. Read into that what you will.

We have to remember that training is the day job and it depends what they do there as to whether they are in the team or not.

Is Kearney carrying a slight knock? It seems strange that KRH would replace him.

Not much in it so far. Defences on top. We`re doing OK. Great shot from Cooper there.
