Not surprising. Hopefully Terrells off field issue was sorted at the time and him and Mehmet can compete for the jersey again!

The fact that Terrell`s been on the bench in recent games is an indicator that it`s sorted, Dave. I don`t believe it was anything major. The reason he hasn`t started any games since is more to do with Mehmet having played so well that he couldn`t be left out.

Who plays on Saturday will depend on how well both keepers have performed in training and perhaps how irritated the gaffer was at Airdrie`s first goal last week.

Not your average Sunday League player.

Good luck to Mason. Didn’t work out for him here, but he might get a move which does.

Is there another keeper incoming?

Hopefully this means we have another goalie inbound to come in and start on Saturday.

Mehmet saved us two points in Perth. His error on Saturday did not lose us the game. There were 10 in front of him that lost the game.

New keeper …if we get one….will be just as susceptible to errors as the rest.

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Agree. The guys in front of him lost the game, their attitude was all wrong. They never showed any urgency, right from the start.

with it happening today and not on Monday, im not sure there is a keeper up here that will be available and better than what is left if they want a replacement.

Personally I would be happy with Terrell back in goals on Saturday. Mehmet did well for a few games but he is liable to let in some howlers which he demonstrated against Airdrie. Terrell is better with his feet and for coming out for balls.

Terrell has made a few howlers himself, arguably more than Mehmet this season.

anyway a quote from Lennon in the Courier:

“We may have to bring another goalkeeper in. Again, we’re just working away on that in the background.”

Aye a 1st choice keeper… Terrell is a decent young keeper he will learn from mistakes ….unlike the other one….

One error of judgement all season from Deniz and he`s slaughtered again. What about the ten players in front of him last Saturday? Deniz has actually won us points recently, two at St Johnstone for a start.

What about the 10 players in front of
Deniz against St Johnstone, are you saying they actually only won one point ?

A team wins as a team and loses as a team (or draws) , any individual successes or mistakes should also be treated as collective responsibility......

Mehmet has a track record of conceding howlers. Yes, he can be a good shot stopper and has saved a few pens but he doesn’t come and claim many crosses and will drop the odd clanger.

Terrel has let a few soft goals in but not as bad as that first goal on Saturday, most high school goalies would have kept that out, it was truly horrendous.

I don’t know what goalies would be available as we only have free agents or SPL loans as possibilities now.

I think Terrell is #1 in Lennon`s eyes, dropped due to this disciplinary issue before the Rovers game & Mehmet did well for 3 games, but I always thought that once Mehmet had a poor game Terrell would come back in.

The fact that it`s a cup game this weekend probably makes it even simpler for Lennon to give Terrell a start.

It`s a shame for Deniz & he`s been really professional but he`s had loads of chances with us & mistakes like the one on Sat just shouldn`t be ok at our level, we need to be ruthless with players if we`re going to kick on.

Agree Munn just isn`t ready yet.
