Goalkeepers: Angus Gunn (Norwich City), Craig Gordon (Heart of Midlothian), Jon McCracken (Dundee).

Defenders: Nicky Devlin (Aberdeen), Anthony Ralston (Celtic), Grant Hanley (Norwich City), Liam Lindsay (Preston North End), Ryan Porteous (Watford), John Souttar (Rangers), Andy Robertson (Liverpool), Greg Taylor (Celtic).

Midfielders: Ryan Christie (Bournemouth), Ryan Gauld (Vancouver Whitecaps), Billy Gilmour, Scott McTominay (both Napoli), Kenny McLean (Norwich City), Andy Irving (West Ham United).

Forwards: Ben Doak (Middlesbrough), James Forrest (Celtic), Lewis Morgan (New York Red Bulls), Che Adams (Torino), Lyndon Dykes (Birmingham City), Lawrence Shankland (Heart of Midlothian).

McGinn and McKenna are missing; first-time call-ups for Devlin, Lindsay (ex-Partick Thistle) and Irving.

Irving played for Hearts, mainly in the season when they won the Championship, then spent two seasons in Germany and Austria before joining West Ham. He`s a left-sided midfielder.

Andy Irving is an interesting one - I`ll be honest I`d never heard of him, but he`s had an interesting career path. Good on him.

I`d love to see some alternatives to Ralston and Hanley at the back, but knowing Steve Clark it will just be the status quo 😔

He`s brought in Devlin and Lindsay. It`s unlikely they will go straight into the starting XI but at least he`s giving them a chance.
