Either the squad needs to be rotated or he wants away. I canā€™t see anything other than a defeat with that lineup. Pretty poor.

That selection is wild. Probably four or five players who would be looking at that and saying to themselves "how am I not playing tonight?"

Suspect he`s planning on getting to 60 odd minutes goalless and then brinking on Ritchie-Hosler, Cooper and Todd to try and get going late on? Might work, if we`re not 2 nil down by then.

Took me about 5 minutes to work out the team for some reason šŸ˜‚ Otoo on bench, Todd (the messiah) on bench and Im guessing Fogarty has already dropped out of contention?

No. That can`t be the case. It`s a deliberate ploy by McPake to get himself sacked while getting it right up the fans. Obvious really....

KRH barely touched the ball in the first half. He had 2 good moments where he took on the fullback.. then got hooked. Wrong time to hook him but he was a total passenger until that point.

On tonightā€™s team, heā€™s lost the plot. Clay and Hamilton in midfield ahead of Otoo is an absolute disgrace, fogarty being frozen out is bizarre & I donā€™t think tonight is a game for Wotherspoon.. Livingston midfielders work very hard & he wonā€™t get time on the ball. Hope Iā€™m wrong..

Good finish with the second effort. Wonder if the ball moved in the air from the first shot as otherwise I`d have been looking for the keeper to do better with it. Promising start though, on the front foot for once.

Our interplay is excellent at the moment, and we are pressing Livi well. Kane and Mebude are monstering the Livi defence. Bene at the back commanding things is making a difference. Keep it up, Pars!

Raith and Airdrie is a terrible game. The Airdrie keeper just passed the ball out when under no pressure. The pitch looks awful too. Like the stuff you used to see in the grocers.

If you think KRH was our best player on Saturday you must have been watching a rerun of a game from league 1.
As for otto he just charges about aimlessly.

What a difference so far having 11 players, 2 not hiding (krh and Todd) and the others holding their shape. We might have resembled a team for the 1st time this season.

It was a pretty pleasing first half. We looked reasonably assured as a team. There was persistent forward movement and several chances. Livi had a couple of opportunities they should have put away, so there`s no room for complacency. We need a second goal to make things more comfortable. And the best thing is that we have a solid bench to come on if and when required.

Would awfy like us to take more of our chances and try and put this game beyond Livi , As our play tonight deserves more goals , get more Goals and we dictate the play and could probably get more on the break !
Because we all know As the Game goes on we will sit deeper and deeper and invite them in ! Do not want to see us drop deeper for the 1-0 , we have been there too many times

The mentality and attitude was correct tonight. Personnel not important if you start every game slowly and allow the opposition to get a foothold.
You would hope lessons learned tonight and a benchmark set?

Perfect opportunity to get Sutherland on in his actual position for a bit. Nah, let`s bring on Wighton instead. So much for bringing through the youngsters. No point in being here, he`d be better off at Kelty or something on loan.

Anyway other than that, solid performance tonight. Ankot kf fans, myself included, have been crying out for a more front foot performance and we got it tonight. Never gave Livi the chance to get settled, capitalised on mistakes, got forward quicker and pressed sensibly. Just need to be doing that more often and not going back into our shell. I know Wilson is missing but Livingston hadn`t lost a game this season and kept Falkirk to 0-0 recently so if we can do it against them then we can do it against anyone.

If you put pressure on good players, even they make mistakes.

If you allow average players time to play, they look good.

Out of absolutely nowhere, best performance of the season by some distance. That has to be the level demanded in every game now, there is a team in there capable of competing at the right end of the table, just need to find a way to click more often

Exactly right. You will probably score more goals from defensive errors that quality play. It`s about consistent pressure and the mistakes come

That performance was coming. Solid tonight against a good team. Started well and positive going forward.

There are no teams better than anyone else in this league. We have a good squad of players and can do well if we can be clinical in front of goal.

We were the better team all over the park. No reason why we can`t do that every week.

So it`s clear for all to see , that we absolutely have a team and a manager who can compete at this level, but it has to be asked, where on earth has this performance been hiding. If we give it a go there`s a very good chance we`ll see more results like this. So please mcpake, try winning games more often than not and you`ll get the players in the right frame of mind at start of matches, not when we`re 2 down!!

Really impressive performance tonight, tend to play our best stuff under the floodlights.

First half I thought Mebude, Kane and Clay were standouts. Started to see what the latter can bring to the team.

It just shows how well we can do when we start games on the front foot and press.

Livingston were brutal.

Well that was pleasing , solid performances all round but Kane was excellent. I commented to my mates at one corner that we had 8 men in the Livi box- just shows what can happen if you approach the game more positively. We had a high press and indeed even closed down Livi from about 10metres into their own half. Well played Pars.

Liking Mebude until he tired. And what a player Sam Young is turning into. Outstanding all over the pitch tonight.

Best performance of the season by far tonight. The line came as a bit of a surprise but credit to the manager tonight as he would have been under massive pressure had we lost tonight. It just goes to show that we have a team definitely capable of avoiding relegation when fully fit and we should take great confidence and belief from tonight after easily defeating the only unbeaten team in the league. I cannot believe how easy it was for us tonight. Apart from a scare in the first 5 minutes Livi hardly threatened. Our front three were excellent tonight

Itā€™s amazing what happens when we play players in the correct positions and have a go!

I only caught the second half. Thought it was a good performance from the players, managed the game well took the chances and done the business at the back. Iā€™m not sure how long Bene has left but when heā€™s on it like that heā€™s a massive player for us.

Didnt see a change in phases of play or our set up other than the intensity of the performance so although it looks a terrific result itā€™s nothing to get ahead of ourselves with, especially when we played similar against Raith and havenā€™t done since until tonight.

I donā€™t think livi showed anything of note at all which is expected as we know how tight the league is. Makes you think if we had an intense attacking minded outlook from the bench every week where that squad would be.

Well, that was a huge and pleasant surprise.
I`ve never believed we are as bad as some others despite our position. I thought we were capable of climbing away from danger, but I didn`t expect to beat most folks` title favourites so convincingly. I figured we were due a win, but my optimism only stretched to a 1-0 win in the PL.

Hopefully, that will give a huge confidence boost and lead to similar performances.

McPake will get his best night`s sleep in ages tonight.

I wasn`t going to go to the match tonight, had a feeling I`d get there and would regret it. When I seen the team sheet though, I liked the look of it, thought it was a line up that was set up to attack. so made a last minute decision to go. I`m pleased I did.

Can`t question the desire and commitment of the players. Everyone worked their socks off. Every player had a good game, I thought Clay really held everything together. I was watching him and he was constantly talking to people telling them where they should be, that`s what we have been needing. Kane was fantastic, never gave their defence a minutes peace. Hopefully they can kick on from this

Good performance, what a difference when we play on the front foot and turn up in the first half.
Once again the difference the first goal makes in this league, thought Tobi did well with quite a few crosses thrown in the second half, Mebude with some pace in the team ,and getting the ball forward quicker ,what a change in attitude.

What a feeling heading home after a performance like that.

Well deserved win and a massive boost ahead of Saturday.

My only negative about tonight was the decision to replace Kane with Wighton. 3 nil up at home, 8 minutes to go why not give Taylor Sutherland a run out?

Apart from that roll on Saturday.

Glad I made a last minute decision to go tonight! Great performance from the lads which only begs the question as to why we donā€™t do that more often!

We forced Livi into so many bad positions because of their persistence to play out from the back. One of which was a stone wall penalty and a shocking decision from the ref to give a free kick instead!

The key thing now is to do the same on Saturday - McPake might just be the Messiah yet šŸ«¢

lol living rent free in your head seems to be where I am!

Great performance tonight, livi offered nothing but I put that down to our press which never gave them an inch. A number of players had thier best game this season so far, back 4 never put a foot wrong all night, shame bene didnā€™t start last sat as was a rock tonight.

Mebude looks an interesting player, has the ability to beat a man easily but then kept trying to do too much instead of play the pass when in a good position but positive signs given he wonā€™t be fully fit or match sharp yet.

Workrate was spot on tonight, was even surprised by how much running wotherspoon put in and some great deliveries for the goals. It was definately a more positive performance in terms of attacking intent too mixed with manageing the game at the right points.

Just a good all round performance and some shift put in. Hopefully we can back it up with another win on sat.
