Stonewall penalty for men as well although thought boy was offside in build up.
This has been absolutely dire again. Raith have sat in deep happy to defend and we have absolutely heehaw to break them down.
Can see why we are linked with a young centre back if this is the style MT wants as Foggarty`s distribution has been honking.
Only positives are McCann having a decent game so far and OK debut so far for Stevens.

Because I virtually Know that the way we are playing at present we are getting beat week in week out !

Bene isnt the same pkayer since he came back from that injury ,Doesnt seem to be taking command as the captain nd as he was before .Hamilton is a bombshell ,gets away with a lot but still picks up stupid bookings

Excellent result!
I am just home and cracked a beer right away, 1st of many tonight.
My 14 year lassie came along with me today who’s not really into football but just fancied a day out with her Dad - Her first game as well.
We went in early and I put my coupon on and she’s like Dad “can I pick one as well” am like fire away, she done a 5 fold BTTS which included our game - She won £86 😂 mines was down!! - First pars game, first coupon, she’s coming next time!! She’s split the winnings with her sister and gave me the £6 to put on a Sunday coupon.

Must say McCann had the beating of the full back both on the ground and in the air and if kane hasn`t scored a hat trick probably would have got MOTM. Good reaction to a poor first half more direct in the second half. Stevens looks a good find if he plays like that regularly.

Not a great game, but I think we had slightly the better of it and deserved to win.
However, sometimes you really do need a break. We`d had the better of a dire first half, and didn`t deserve to be a goal down at half-time. The penalty looked soft to me but there didn`t seem to be any complaint at all from our players, so maybe it was one of those where the angle can fool you. We hadn`t been good, but really frustrating to be a goal down after how the first half went.
And then the breaks went out way. That must be the first penalty we`ve been given in a long time that I didn`t shout for at all. No idea where the handball happened as I didn`t see it at all but it looked like we needed something like that to get back into it. Then a deflection to put the keepr the wrong way to go 2-1 up. The last penalty looked a pretty clear foul to me.
If the highlights showed the goals and nothing else, it would be a good reflection fo the game. I can`t think of much else that happened - Ngwenya`s shot in the first half and a couple of late chances for them when it was already 3-1, but that was about it. Still, it`s a really good win and it feels like a long time since we last won from a goal down.
Really sad to see that stuff chucked at players after the Rovers scored. If you`re chucking stuff on the park, you are a wee fanny. p***-poor and no justification for it at all.

A great win, especially after going behind at such a psychological moment. I can`t believe some folk thought Raith`s pen was a "stonewaller." I had a mate who could "win" pens like that every week in the Sunday League. "Give me the ball, lads, a penalty is our only chance of scoring." He`d take the ball up to an opponent, knock it past him and throw himself over his outstretched leg. Refs bought it every time. Shows you the standard of that ref today.
My pal would insist on taking the pen himself. He missed more than he scored. 😃

Very important win today! It was good to see us cut out the tippy tappy rubbish at the back after half time. Both teams were poor in the first half and we didn’t deserve to go down. Unfortunately I think it was a definite penalty. Easton was clever and Fogarty needlessly dived in. Hamilton was the main culprit however for day dreaming when the high ball was played to Easton. I have to admit, I couldn’t see us coming back after this.
Second half was a much more open game. Raith started better and had a few half chances that could have killed the game. Credit to us though, we got our act together, got lucky with the penalty then took control. Chris Kane was excellent today. He’s an absolute pest that wins so many balls that look like lost causes. He would have been man of the match even if he didn’t get a hat trick. McCann was a close second and Stevens played well too. Wotherspoon played how we all expect Todd to perform. He rarely gave the ball away and defended brilliantly.
Well deserved 3 points and hopefully we can finally get a wee run going to take us away from danger! Airdieonians winning today made this result even more vital. I can see them improving from now to the end of the season.

I thought the fans in the North West were excellent, sang, drummed and back the team from start to finish.
I`m not a great fan of fans throwing things on to the pitch, but when you get wee sh1tehawks like Dylan Easton going out of his way to run towards them, slide on his knees, cup his ears and generally try and wind them up, maybe he`s asking for a coin or lighter off his napper. He was desperate to clipe to the ref too.

There`s no excuse for chucking stuff at players.
However, for someone who runs coaching schools for bairns, Easton doesn`t half set a bad example. If he doesn`t run up to that section, pushing his teammates out the road, to knee slide in front of the most volatile part of our support, he doesn`t get stuff chucked at him.
He`s a total dick.
Feel really sorry for the vast majority of SNW who've been exceptional the last few games

Very good result in comparison to last week, it seems a world away. Rovers missed chances and Bene is struggling. Foggerty was immense today with a huge winning attitude.
Rovers are probably more streetwise than us, but I think they will start to struggle now. Easton must be one of the most frustrating team members to have. He wants to beat players to prove a point rather than beat a man to the team’s advantage.
Bene advised him on his way back from the celebration incident that maybe he brought some of the trouble upon himself. I expect trouble for the idiots in the NW.
if we play like that at the back next week, Aberdeen will pick us apart. Too many loose balls and lack of ownership to win it.
Apart from that, I am as happy as a dinner bell.

Great result and up to 8th in the league but still a bit worrying that we only had 4 shots on goal the whole game. Two of them were penalties and one was a deflected shot. Their keeper only made one save so we rode our luck today. We were probably due a bit of luck though!

That was our biggest police presence at a game in probably 10 years and they still let off smoke bombs 4 times and launched coins on the park…….maybe if they self policed it better then people wouldn’t call for the section (not stand) to be closed. They don’t give a f*ck about what the club say or the police.

Thought the second half was a brilliant spectacle. We fought for every 50/50 ball and looked a danger up front.
Kane aside from his goals was easy MOM
He chases lost causes other players don’t want to and gets his rewards.
Maybe a hard neck claiming the hattrick though lol
Very happy Pars fan tonight as, unlike the F*lkirk game we actually deserved the acclaim and were the better team.
New signings were terrific I have to add.

In the 2nd half you could see what a good team we were. Tobi can dispatch a brilliant kick as well and finally looking like an attacking force!
I just thought we used the ball much better. We’d still rather keep possession but we also look forward first rather than backwards all the time.
And yeah, the guys played themselves into trouble a couple of times in the first half but we were also good at drawing their back line forward then playing over the top to McCann or Steven’s.
Felt like we messed up our final ball on a few occasions in the first half - annoyingly 🤷🏻♂️ hey I’ll take it tho… brilliant result today

Not a great game, two poor sides to be honest but thought we shaded it on second half chances. Kane, Hamilton, McCannn and Comrie best for us IMO but what sort of Fud throws something at Easton from our end. It detracts from a great result and the best way to give him stick is taunt him at full time, that section are becoming an embarrassment.
