Can’t believe Young has been dropped of Yeboah. He was rotten at the weekend. Also, he’s the only goalscorer in the team.

I know McCann did quite well coming on at the weekend but surely this is the kind of game Young should be playing in? I`d also have Young starting ahead of Yeboah every day of the week. Andy Tod junior back from cold storage, Freddie Rowe gone despite having space on the bench. No Dapo Mebude of course as he`s off to Bulgaria (not that he`ll be missed particularly) so options look light again if we need to chase the game.

Yeah, I know we don`t see what happens in training etc but when Young first signed his first interview was talking about how McIndoe gave him confidence and that Tidser was similar etc and now he`s dropped for a guy who I don`t think is as good and isn`t even our own player.

Yeah disappointing young drops out while yeboah was rubbish on sat and stays in. There is just no goals upfront in that team. Infact there’s very few goals full stop.

Wotherspoon was terrible on Saturday but looking at the bench he’s getting a game by default too.

Wonder if with dapo leaving we’ll try and bring a few more in.

That squad gives me to fear. There is nothing on the bench that can come on a change it.

I struggle to see where we create anything tbh.

We will be fine tonight. That’s a team that will not be pushed off the ball, will win plenty 50-50’s and should be causing Hamilton concern at set pieces. When Yeboah ( hopefully tonight) gets his first goal he will settle down. I also think Young is potentially a good 30 minute impact sub to get us a second or a much needed first. Got a good feeling - no lack of good feet in that team on Astro. Mullen will shine tonight.

Coverntry never mind a goal I’d settle for yeboah looking up when in possession just once, that would be an improvement on sat. Maybe yeboah needs to play when fit as part of the loan deal.

Squad suddenly looks a bit thin, quite a few players who have recently been dropped to the bench seem to have picked up injuries.

We’ll need to cut our loses with Kane in the summer if we can, just doesn’t make enough games.

Pretty comfortable so far but letting far too many crosses get in.

Stevens looks our biggest threat going forward.

Mullen and Boothe strolling it as well. Good to see us with some physical presence in there.

I`d love to see Stevens drive to the byline it`s getting predictable playing it inside or back the way all the time. Although I agree he is our biggest threat so far. Hamilton is there for the taking.

Look at the bench, wotherspoon only getting a game as there’s no one else.

No surprise yeboah has been poor again, doesn’t look up to it at this level.

Game decided on whoever makes the defensive error first?

It`s been the same old Same old crap from the Pars even with the new faces
I don`t think Wotherspoon has passed to his own players yet
I don`t think there can be many complaints if a few were replaced at half time
Stevens is doing ok but not much els we can say about our attackers , haven`t seen Yeboah or McCann doing a thing of note ,
Cmon Ye pars waken up try and get an effort on target and who knows we might even get an own Goal , I`m at the stage I dont care how we score let`s just score more than Hamilton

Decent stream and commentary from accies.

What a sh1te game of football, both teams showing why they are where they are.

Young for Yeboah and I’d be tempted to swap MCcann for Toddie on the right just to mix it up attacking wise.

I think the first goal is the winner here and they look slightly better in the final 3rd than we do.

Ball not sticking with Yeboah at all so imagine that`ll change.

Hamilton working the ball out to their left well and keep pinging dangerous balls in. Left winger seems to have acres of space constantly.

The short goal kicks look completely ineffective. Hamilton are playing with one up who isn`t chasing it at all so it`s not drawing them in. Just kick it up the park or roll it out to a fullback.

They look more like scoring.

Otoo has really regressed in recent weeks. Worrying. Miss his bursting runs from midfield or left centre back. Why is McCann continuing to be allowed to hit free kicks? Why can`t any of our players time their jumps when attacking corners and free kicks?

Otoo was really good on Saturday I thought but played too far wide to make an impact.
Tonight we are clearly playing a ‘McPake’ style of play. Make sure we don’t lose rather than go for the win and a cushion over Hamilton.
Feel sorry for the fans there watching this mince.

Otoo was frustrating on sat, very deliberate in what he did which slowed everything down, always refused a first time pass and his head was down when he did get past his man so inevitably he turned back or just lost the ball.

Need young on, we know yeboah and McCann not up to it, let’s give him a chance. Mind you who is going to play him in? Wotherspoon couldn’t pass water and everyone else is staring at the ball when they have it..

I find it a bit deflating that Tidser plays the same as McPake, especially when our position is precarious.

Terrible goal to lose but been coming. We don`t seem to gave any central defence at all. Huge gaps all over the place. Oluwayemi already made two or three good saves before that crept in. Just another awful performance.

It’s so predicable. Even with loads of new signings of which only about half of them look anywhere near good enough so we are still relying on the previous duds and now combined with even worse tactics than mcpake it’s looking pretty toxic.

Just hoping Raith can score now so at least we didn’t edge closer to the bottom.

Players are just not good enough. Dunfermline nil could still finish 10th, which was where I thought we would be at start of season. I hoped new owners/management and a few quality signings in January would make a difference. Not one bit of a difference at this stage.

This is a team that has not had a clean sheet since November - even Musselburgh managed to score against them. They’ve carved us open multiple times in the second half and deserve to be in the league. Sad thing is, they look terrible, which doesn’t say a lot about us.

I’ve not made my mind up on a manager so quickly before but Tidser is a shocking appointment. I hate to write him off so soon but he’s a downgrade in McPake. The way we’re set up is dreadful and he seems too thick to realise this set up is not working. How can everyone else see it and not the man who’s paid to get results? McLaughlin set us up to play to our strengths, which is surely the common sense approach especially the position we’re in.

Tidser is well out his depth. Should be nowhere near the club. This style of play is killing us.

A weaker squad drew 3-3 with Falkirk and won 4-1 at Firhill.

What was the difference? A manager that played to the players strengths as opposed to what he perceives to be the right way to play football.

The jump from being a part time manager for 18 months to becoming a full time manager at Dunfermline is far too big a jump for him.

I still can’t believe we didn’t go for Ian Murray, was the obvious choice at the time and still is.

Still not even tested the keeper since going a goal down. This is pathetic. I can see Airdrie catching us now. They’ve figured out how to score goals after we gave them belief that a comeback was possible. I’m convinced a half decent manager could get a tune out of this team. This could go down to be a worst appointment than Grant.

I think it was the wrong time to bring new players in. Start of the season would be better albeit we didn’t have the new owners then. Just looks like panic buying atm.

They’re not getting time to gel and the pressure on them must be immense. (Not an excuse, I’m just thinking out loud).

I don’t really know what to think of Tidser; it wasn’t what I was expecting, or told, by Kelty hearts fans.

Was there never any sounding out regarding what Tidser`s philosophy was? It`s absolutely head scratching they`ve decided to appoint him halfway through the season when he`s so stubborn that he refuses to adapt the team.

Without Chris Kane we are absolutely toothless, and tapping the ball out from a goal kick to aimlessly pass it around the back before inevitably lumping it up the park to nobody is just insanity. Under McLaughlin whether it was him or something else, we simplified the football and it was so much more effective.

We`ve gone back to thinking a rubbish 2nd tier Scottish side can get away with playing this way as McPake did, it`s amazing a club with full time staff can`t see what`s completely obvious to everyone else

That was dire. Possibly the worst performance yet given who we were playing. Bullied all over the pitch. We are in trouble. Not one goal in 5 games.

Bar Mullen we are absolutely brutal and heading for the seaside league. That is utter dug sh1te.

Every bit as bad as MCPakes football, no invention, no pace, no ideas.

Bene, Hamilton, MCcann, Weatherspoon, Yeboah, awful awful awful time to drop a league and get rid and start afresh.

Relegation written all over this team I am afraid. No creativity. Can’t score. Lose more second balls than they win. Can’t control simple passes.

The body language of McCann, shaking his head and flapping his arms about every five minutes. Bene is not leading this team. Looks like he doesn’t want to be on the park. Weathespoon dreadful.
Otoo…. Never a footballer.

Only Mullen and Stevens get pass marks. But the latter still running up blind alley ways when surely a ball into the box more often would be better.

Yeboah runs more than snyone but is not the answer.

Signing a load of young inexperienced players when we really needed a couple of players who know this league.,Hamilton have signed three…

Hard to see us getting anything from the four games after Morton which is now a must win game..

Dreadful dreadful performance tonight….

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

That was absolutely terrible from 1st minute to the last. Insipid, boring, gutless performance in the most important game of the season so far.

Feel really, really low tonight. Can`t see this ending well at all. There`s literally nothing positive about the club these days.

I honestly think a decent manager could do something with this team! Unfortunately, it seemed Mr Cook wanted Tidser and overpaid to get him! That saying we are desperately short of a good tested striker, these guys couldn’t score at Tappies grab a granny night!

Good to hear the fans telling the players what they think. We may have signed a good few players. But we still have the same wage thief’s kicking about.

Mullen at a push was the only positive player. At least trying to put in some effort.

Bene McCann yeboah stevens utter guff tonight. They are lucky we had no options to replace any of them.

We have a very tough run of games coming up now and if tidser is going to stick with this set up then he is going to be under huge pressure very very quick

How many new players in since McPake was sacked? is it 7? Not sure it’s been worth the time, effort or money?

2 poor teams & a terrible showing from DAFC

Only upside was I got to watch that shambles for nothing thanks to Hamilton doing a free stream

Not sure if a free viewing would entice me to watch another game & waste a couple of hours of my life that I won’t ever get back
Shame on you Dunfermline, that was dreadful

Need a minor rant..

That was hard to watch maybe a minute or 2 where we put them under pressure in second half apart from that Hamilton deserved the win and bit for couple of saves and a crossbar we would lost by more.

We have Absolutely no ideas going forward especially transition they midfield, and too much trying to play out from way too far back time we get to the half way line Hamilton are reorganised

(Leave that to the teams way way above our leagues with players that have pace and skills to do it…)

Even when someone ran with the ball there were no players looking to get into space just negative thinking and they all think just turn up and we take a point…

Some folk here were talking about the top 4! We`d struggle to make the top 4 of League One on that showing. Probably needed 7 points from this kind run of fixtures before March and I`ve picked up 1 at home to the team in the worst form in the league. We`ve barely threatened in either game. Players who are looking like raffle winners are starting games or staying on longer than needed. But the worst thing about tonight IMO was the attitude. It totally stunk from several out there. Benedictus thinking he`s Beckenbaur. Oakley-Booth and Yeboah falling over trying to con a cheap free kick rather than taking responsibility and looking for a man. Otoo retreating into his shell. McCann trying too hard rather than concentrating on the basics. The general lack of intensity, the lack of game management, the lack of footballing intelligence. We look like a side who cannot seal with pressure at all, so if Airdrie do get within a few points I expect us to crumble. We look like a side who don`t care if we go a goal down or even lose a game because we`ve played a few short passes and don`t want to fly into challenges, fight for possession high up the park or do any of the other unglamorous or dirty jobs that need done. I was annoyed on Saturday but I am actually angry tonight. I feel sorry for the guys who went to the game or paid to watch it on Pars TV (Luckily I was "abroad" and watched the Accies stream). The guys who travelled should be getting their money back from the manager and players. Absolute charlatans.

We’ve had relegation written all over us from day 1 of it. I’d be surprised if we weren’t relegated tbh. Too late in the day to do anything about it now.

Just end the season now.

Hopefully new owners have their own manager they can bring in.

Get those “local” directors as far away as fckn possible from making any more managerial mistakes. Can’t even call it an appointment anymore-everyone has been a mistake.

As much as the new owners have brought players in you have to ask yourself why they would give the managers job to someone who insists on playing 1 style of play. You want a manager who is willing to change style and approach depending on who/how we are playing.

I`m still willing to give him a chance but it`s looking more and more like a massive error in judgement by those responsible for hiring him.

I was worried about finishing 9th but Airdrie are now 7 points behind with a game in hand and we`ve still to play them again.

Still 30 points to play for but if it`s not to late, the owners need to splash more cash on a couple of fringe SPL experienced players.

There is no time for patience and bedding in,we need results now or it`s relegation time AGAIN FFS!!!

Admittedly, I wasn’t against the Tidser appointment, I’d rather have gone down the young and ambitious route than the same old merry go round (although would’ve preferred Murray).

I was more positive seeing the performances when John McLaughlin was in charge, he was basically handing Tidser the blueprints to being successful with this team.

Instead he’s come in and been incredibly stubborn in how he wants to play and refuses to change it. This style of football can work, but to try and implement it now when we’re in a relegation scrap is poor judgement.

Regardless of what you think of their talent, we have some attack minded players in the team and the style doesn’t suit them, it’s evident when we can’t even get a shot on target.

We’re just overcomplicating things, John McLaughlin set us up really well, but why it really worked was that the players were enjoying it, the leash was off. With that attitude towards a game brings the crowd along with it.

It’s so difficult to get the fans involved when we’re playing the way we are and how often is it stressed that we can be the twelfth man.

I’m really hoping (and I’d give him credit) if he admits it isn’t working and pivots.

Think he has to now or we’re in serious bother.

Mullen, Stevens and Oakley look good, our style of play clearly didn’t work for Young against QP and that alone is a reason to change.

Yeboah looks away from the standard we need and the other boy from midfield, not really seen much of.

Think it’s more the style of play than the players for me at this stage.

3 times oluwuyemi kicked it long, Mcann took it down did his usual and ran in a straight line with no skill to take on the player and it bounced out for a corner luckily. multiple times we passed out the back lost it in the midfield then invited an attack from Hamilton . At least with launching it long we got an attacking chance from a corner. I know which one I’d rather watch.

Some losses hurt more than others, and it does feel sore tonight. I thought the first half was a bit better than Saturday - poor stuff but not quite the mindless tedium of that game. That second half though, shocking.

We tried to push forward more in the second half but it was totally ineffective and left us so exposed at the back. 3 times before they scored they had good chances and got behind us. We never really threatened at all.

I just feel I`ve seen it all before, about a million times in the last few years. Manager wants to play `nice` (but actually, very boring) football, finds it harder than expected, tweaks the system to be a bit more solid but completely fails to get a good balance between defence and attack. Ends up with a team that is not coherent, generally look like never scoring after going a goal down. And because it`s all set up for passy-passy, there`s nothing there when we need to change it.

3 of our last 4 games away to Hamilton have been 1-0 losses. 3 different managers, 3 lots of passy ineffective sh*te, 3 times never looking like scoring after going behind.

Some folk like to pompously tell people to `control their emotions`. Well, I don`t mind saying that football can make me feel pretty low sometimes, and tonight is one of those. There isn`t much I can do to control how I feel. I`m just ****ing scunnered with us being utter mince for what feels like week after week and year after year.

It`s a bit funny but I didn`t like some of the photos that were shown of Tidsers first training sessions with the players. It kind of looked like a bit of arrogence towards the players and the look on some of the players faces didn`t fill me with confidence, but maybe I was imagining this. I do wonder though if the players have already lost confidence in him and his tactics. If we continue playing in this manner I think we will be relegated in tenth place and we can`t blame the pitch for tonights game/result.

Disagree slightly with socks in that we did change things slightly in the second half, going a bit more direct and moving to a front two. So he did try to change it. The issue with that move - and it`s something we need cleared up pronto - is that we have so many players out again there was nothing on the bench to make a better tactical switch. If Ritchie-Hosler or Kane or even O`Halloran was available then maybe we get a bit more quality wide, we get higher up, we push them back. As it was, the only real personnel or system issue I had tonight was Yeboah starting over Young which to me was crazy. Yeboah coming on with 20 minutes to go against tired legs might work. starting him made no sense. Ideally the likes of McCann, Wotherspoon etc would have been dropped or subbed off but there was nothing there. The big problem for me wasn`t the tactics or the shape, it was the lack of aggression, lack of intensity, lack of giving a damn. He`s also said the same in the post match interview so maybe we`ll see a reaction but the way players are, maybe not.

Tidser has exhibited a complete lack of accountability for that performance. He has repeatedly attributed our shortcomings to the home pitch and is now directing his blame toward the players for failing to adhere to his instructions. Who is truly at the helm of this team? If players are not following instructions , they should be benched. He should be playing players who are willing to listen and exhibit passion and determination. This team displayed this evening no passion, commitment, or a sense of urgency. This has become an all too frequent occurrence in recent weeks. I am sick and tired of the continuous failings. I do not shy away from expressing how profoundly football impacts me on an emotional level. My partner struggles to comprehend why I become so agitated. After returning home from the match, I will likely remain awake until 2 AM, my thoughts are a whirlpool following our defeat. I am weary of our club`s incessant failures—failing to capitalise on the opportunity at Airdrie and failing to salvage tonight`s game. I read elsewhere that McPake gained more points in his last five games with us than Tidser has in his first five. Tidser was appointed to navigate us to safety, yet he appears to be guiding us toward automatic relegation based on current form. By casting players aside in his post match , particularly when most are out of contract, they may well disengage for the remainder of the season. For them, it doesn’t matter whether we manage to stay up get relegated, as it bears little consequence for their futures.

If the board and owners are giving him time then they are basically accepting relegation. I’d be shocked if we even score goals playing this way never mind winning games of football. Next 4 games will genuinely see us lucky to pick up 2 points. Absolutely tragic stuff

Watched the game online. Several times a Pars player would burst past a couple of the opposition players but the ball went a yard too far, and possession was lost. Was this a pitch thing? Anyone at the game closer to the action have a view?

No, it was not the pitch that was at fault; it was the players themselves. McCann and Yeboah consistently faltered throughout the night. To be candid, I fail to see anything remarkable in Yeboah. On each occasion that I have observed him, he has been abysmal. Merely possessing pace and the ability to press does not equate to being a footballer. Watching players like him and McCann in the forward positions, struggling to retain possession when they lack control or the ability to execute a pass, is a tormenting experience
