Big call on that side, no real out ball with Doak missing and Hickey is much better than Patterson defensively IMO.
Fingers crossed it`s a masterplan!

Doaks tired against Haiti so probably thinking he will be better fresh for the last 30, if we are still in it. Think Hickey got booked too so maybe keeping him for Brazil?

Worried that it`s all going to fall apart which would be a real shame seeing how invigorated the nation is about the world cup. I`m hoping that Morocco will underestimate us and that our players perform like they can and do for their club sides.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Would have thought one of Gannon-Doak or Curtis would play.
Hopefully a tactical masterclass from Clarke. Does have the worrying feel of a James McPake side where the post match interview will be all about how we `nearly got a draw`.

We`re just not all that good are we? Like Wee Eck says we`re ranked 42nd. Hatai are ranked 83rd and you could see th difference between us and them. Morocco look like they could go up another fear or two if they want. I sincerely hope I come back on later to eat my words but it beggars belief that we gave Steve Clarke another four years. Turning up just to make up the numbers is only worthwhile if you are one of the blessed few that can afford to go for a booze fueled holiday.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

We need a more positive mindset if we`re to have any chance. Too many looking to take the safe option even in attack and holding the ball up when there`s a chance to break.

Wrong tactics, playing for a draw against a team with skill, and carthouse Hanley fails again.
Why do we approach so negatively.
We are lucky to only be one down, let`s get some attacking flair, and try.
This is why the manager has been good to get us here, but also very lucky, and in the finals the luck runs out.
However it`s only 1 down, and with change of tactics, and teams who knows.

McTominay has been anonymous for the second game in a row. I thought he was maybe suffering the after-effects of his stomach bug against Haiti but he should be well over that now. We need to make better use of the ball on the rare occasions we get it.
