Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Saturday, 6th Nov 2004Highlights from interviews given by Davie Hay, Barry Nicholson and Darren Young after the ICT game.
Davie Hay
Davie is dismayed that his side lost 2 points and felt that although they deserved a win their second half performance was not good enough. Hay believes that Nicholson’s penalty appeal looked to be a penalty but acknowledges that these things can sometimes go against you. He tells us that Skerla’s injury may rule him out of Wednesdays cup-tie but that it is a ‘wait and see’ problem.
Barry Nicholson
Barry is unhappy at the Pars second half performance and knows it is a poor home result. He believes his penalty claim was a definite penalty and goes as far as to quote the referee to prove his point. He sees it as a huge turning point that could well have cost them the game and is confused that the referee can admit contact but not award the penalty. Overall it is seen as a huge set back whether is was a loss or not.
Darren Young
Darren is resigned to the fact that Inverness deserved the draw after the poor Pars performance but is upbeat about doing well in the forthcoming Cup game.
