April Fools day
Author: Brian Date: Wednesday, 1st Apr 2009As we normally do on the 1st April we had a story to try and fool some of you. It did pretty well for some DAFC.net Fans and One F in Falkirk fans.
This year`s 1st April story was an attempt to make fans think that the website had been hacked by Falkirk fans.
Images and some stories were added to the site to make it appear that these were written by a rogue Falkirk fan.
However, many of you quickly spotted the ruse and were not taken in by it, but some fans on both sides were easily caught out. I am also a bit surprised that at 1.45am in the morning a Falkirk fan had spotted this. I have to ask why they were viewing DAFC.net at that time of the morning!!
Sammy of course is not getting a transfer. He is Scotland`s best Mascot!
We also ran a poll asking how many goals would be scored against Dunfermline (with all options of Falkirk scoring goals and none against). 26 people actually voted.
