QOTS Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Sunday, 27th Sep 2009Highlights from interviews given by Gordon Chisholm, Joe Cardle and Jim McIntyre after the game against Queen Of The South at East End Park.
Gordon Chisholm
After the midweek game against Rangers, Gordon was wary of a big crash but his team did nothing of the sort and cruised to victory after fifteen minutes of first half madness. He praises his team`s effort as they have been short of first team players but regardless they sit top of the league after a fine away result.
Joe Cardle
Joe is very unhappy at not being awarded a penalty shortly after the home sides equaliser and his is adamant that it should have been given. To make matters worse, Queens went straight up the park and score to go 2-1 up. The winger feels that the team has not been getting any luck but insists they wont let recent results get the morale down and they will pick themselves up in training.
Jim McIntyre
Jim believes his team were the better in the first half despite giving away four goals. He blames individual error for most of the goals and he knows its very hard to win football matches when you are gifting the opposition easy chances to score. The penalty that was given and the one that wasn`t were both stonewallers according to the manager but one team got theirs and the other didn`t.
