DAFC and Pars Foundation Walk and Talk EventDate: Thursday, 8th Apr 2021
This past year has been really difficult for everyone, the restrictions and lockdowns have had an effect on everyone. This has led to some initiatives that we had planned to help with mental health awareness and improving positive mental well-being having to be postponed.
We can now get the ball rolling once again, and I am delighted to have teamed up with the Pars Foundation for this walk and talk event on the Thursday 15th April at 10.00am.
The aim of this initiative is to help reduce the feelings of loneliness and isolation. As ever this is an invitation to our fan-base and our local community, so you do not need to be a Pars fan to attend. We hope that a gentle walk gives you exercise that then will lead to improving your mood, and sleep quality. Being in nature and green spaces can improve your mental health and well-being.
We are hoping this can take off and be a weekly event.
