A Brand New Errea For The Pars
Date: Wednesday, 31st May 2023This week sees the end of an era for Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, with Joma no longer supplying kit and leisurewear to the KDM Group East End Park side. Instead, a new Errea will begin in earnest, come the first of June.
As revealed on DAFC`s Official Club Website earlier on this week, the Italian brand, based in San Polo di Torrile, was founded in 1988 and will team up with The Pars to bring a full new range of kit, training and leisurewear to West Fife.
Fabrizio Taddei, Head of Global Partnership Department at Errea commented:
“It has been a great pleasure for us to work closely with everyone at Dunfermline AFC on this first range of kit and clothing and I hope that the fans will be as delighted with it as we are. The start of this partnership comes at a very good time for the club, who are looking to continue adding more successes and to moving up the leagues even further, so I am very excited to see how that will go and to sharing in their journey.”
Jon Haile of Erreà Sport UK added:
“Everyone at Errea is really excited and looking forward to partnering with Dunfermline Athletic FC and we are delighted to welcome the club to the Errea family. We would like to congratulate all involved with the club on their Scottish League One title win and promotion to the Championship. Dunfermline Athletic is a very ambitious club and has a genuine true sportsmanship culture and philosophy at the heart of the club. They aspire to achieve consistently high levels of performance and we hope to play our part in helping them achieve even more success in the coming years.”
David Cook, Chairman and CEO of Dunfermline rounded off by saying
“We are delighted to welcome Erreà to the club. From our first conversations, it was clear how passionate they are about creating great kit and apparel for fans. We are excited about the first range we will deliver to our supporters this summer and we look forward to building our offering over the coming seasons. With their innovative production processes, we are able to offer a broader range of bespoke product for supporters stretching into our training wear ranges for the first time in many seasons.”
Despite it being a new era off the park, it is the same consistency on the pitch which could produce those further successes spoken about above.
The most recent of which was to re-sign goalkeeper Deniz Mehmet, who broke so many personal, team and club records throughout the 2022-2023 campaign.
A new 3-year deal for the shot-stopper provides the defence with a solid foundation to build forward from over the next couple of seasons.
