Petrie in Oz

Just a quick line about Stewarts move to Northern Spirit in Australia.

I go to watch the local Perth team in Western Australia Perth Glory last saturday we entertained Northern Spirit at Perth oval, a lively start by Stewart with Fergie also causing our defence some problems.

However Fergie came off very early (not sure why) after about 25 minutes leaving a big gap. It was a hot night probably close to 30 degrees on the pitch.

I was sweating buckets in the stands towards the break Stewart was pacing himself and came out after halftime a bit livelier.

He took a knock and came off after 20 odd minutes of the second half. Not too bad a start. I don`t think fitness or skill were an issue but he will have to adjust to the hotter conditions over here.
