Down but not out !
Date: Monday, 14th May 2007The Pars may be relegated to the first division but they are certainly not out. A fantastic run at the end of the season, a Scottish Cup Final and UEFA cup to look forward too.
Stephen Kenny and his management team have breathed fresh life into Dunfermline Athletic and it was bad luck that cruelly sent the best team in the run-up down to the First Division.
The support of the fans in recent weeks and in the last 2 days has been overwhelming and I hope that this level of support will allow Kenny to retain all or most of the players that he needs to in the cut-throat First Division.
Remembering that playing in Europe is something few players achieve and that none of the current players should want away immediately. Hopefully they will want to stay and go further in the UEFA cup than we did the last time.
