Greenock Morton Post Match Interviews

Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Sunday, 6th Mar 2011

Highlights from interviews given by Jim McIntyre and Allan Moore after the game against Greenock Morton at East End Park.

JIM MCINTYRE
Jim describes the game as a very bad day at the office. While, in recent games, he has been very pleased with his players the defeat was unacceptable but also uncharacteristic. Individual errors are blamed for causing each of the three goals and outside of these incidents the keeper hasn`t had a save to make. At the other end the attacking players did manage to create three or four good chances but it is nigh on impossible to win a match having given three easy goals away. It is hoped by the manager that all of the mistakes have been made and that it is out of the players system.

ALAN MOORE
Alan admits that the home side had a major hand in their down downfall but he was delighted to get off to such a flyer. It was his intention to go out in the second half and keep it tight but when gifted another chance they managed to go two up. The Morton manager doesn`t feel his side are one of the front runners but having played the top teams they dont fear any of them.
