Livingston Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Wednesday, 31st Dec 2008Highlights from interviews given by Jim McIntyre and Paul Hegarty after the game against Livingston at East End Park.
Jim McIntyre
Jim admits that the game wasn`t pretty but after so many weeks at home without a win this was far from important. The handball incident was a stone wall penalty according to the manager but with the goal coming in equally controversial circumstances they seemed to cancel each other out. He feels that both teams gave their all without producing a great amount of quality but he is delighted to pick up the three points.
Paul Hegarty
Paul is dissapointed to lose a goal in such a fashion as he is far from convinced that the ball crossed the line at all. He felt his team had Dunfermline on the ropes at time and given the financial worries at the club he gives huge plaudits to his players for putting in a hard fought performance.
