The Learning curve has arrived at East End Park with one of three Lauder College Learning Centres being opened there.
The network - Up For Learning is being managed by Napier University in Edinburgh with support from the Bank of Scotland and Scottish Power.
The network which sees bases launched at the Mines Rescue Service in Crossgates and at the Business Learning Centre at Lauder, aims to bring learning closer to the home and the workplace. They also hope to attract new learners.
The training provides learners with free access to paper-based learning materials, computer, the internet and online learning facilities.
"Lauder College has always recognised the importance of ensuring all members of the Fife community are given the opportunity to access learning at a time and place convenient to the individual," said college principal Janet Lowe."
"These three centres will give people in the west Fife area access to learning materials giving an introduction to a varied portfolio of subjects including team building, presentation techniques, numeracy and communication skills."
Anyone wishing to make use of the new learning centres should contact Lauder College, customer services staff on 01383 845010.
