Here`s the big idea. Futsal is all about skill, fair play and respect. We want to bring more and more adults to the game - as a great way to stay active. Futsal helps you get comfortable with the ball at your feet. It also encourages you to develop technique. Think of futsal as ball to feet, not ball to row Z.

Your country needs you!
Right now, Scotland doesn`t have a national futsal squad. If we did, there`s a chance we could take part in the next European or world championships. And let`s face it, a small chance is better than no chance at all.

As the game takes hold here, Scotland is going to need lots of futsal players. So why not start playing now?

Futsal news and views
In May, we`re going to launch a notice board and forum. There you`ll be able to get all the latest news - and share your thoughts with other futsal fans.

Where to play
You`ve got your futsal ball. You`ve got your mates. Now all you need is somewhere to play.

Indoors and outdoors
Futsal is mostly played indoors, but you can also play outdoors on any football friendly surface.

In fact, you can use any five-a-side venue - just make sure you use futsal balls, and remember that the perimeter boards are out of bounds.

Futsal pitches
Right now Scotland has two venues with regulation futsal pitches. In time we hope to see more. Lots more.

Then you`re ready to enter your team into the Total Futsal Tournament 2005.

As the tournament goes on, we hope to encourage futsal teams all over Scotland to get together in local leagues - just like the ones in Perth, Inverness and Edinburgh.
