Last Saturday saw bottom versus top – Kelty Hearts against Dunfermline Athletic – in SPFL Cinch League One, in the first Fife Derby of the campaign.
This weekend, it is 2nd vs 1st, as the Pars take on Airdrieonians at the newly named KDM Group East End Park.

Following relegation from the Scottish Championship, Dunfermline Athletic needed to have a successful summer to prepare for life in SPFL cinch League One.
There have already been several positive arrivals ahead of the 22/23 season, varying from Kyle Benedictus coming in from Raith Rovers to Max Little joining from QPR, it`s been an interesting summer to say the least, so far.
First Fife Derby

It will be the first competitive match between Kelty Hearts and Dunfermline Athletic this weekend as the Maroon Machine face the Pars at New Central Park in the SPFL Cinch League One, on Match-Day 4.
It has been contrasting emotions for both sides in recent months, with both sides suffering the downs and experiencing the highs before both management teams were changed during the close season.

Making a Mochrie of FC Edinburgh

It was the first away game of the SPFL Cinch League One campaign for the Pars, and their first big test on how they will handle a whole new environment – such as smaller stadiums, plastic pitches.
It is fair to say, that they made a bit of a Mochrie of FC Edinburgh`s inaugural match as a League 1 side, with Athletic running out 3-0 victors.
