Date: Wednesday, 14th Oct 2026

The Co-Operation Agreement between SPFL William Hill Championship side Dunfermline Athletic and SPFL William Hill League Two outfit Stirling Albion is paying major dividends, with three Pars youngsters playing pivotal roles as Steven Whittaker`s Binos secured progression to the Last 32 of the KDM Evolution Trophy.

Stirling required a result at Forthbank on Tuesday night in the final match-day of the revamped League Phase.

The hosts delivered the goods with a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Hibernian B in front of their own fans.

It was a night owned by the Dunfermline loanees. Trailing 1-0 to an early Jacob MacIntyre strike, Stirling responded through Lucas Fyfe, who levelled on 8 minutes. MacIntyre restored parity for Hibs B in the 53rd minute, but prior to that, Fyfe again was the man firing home, this time on 33 minutes for his brace to make it 2-1 to Stirling.

Both goals were created by fellow loanee Zeke Cameron, while Danny Dobbie anchored the midfield to see out the crucial point against a highly energetic Hibernian academy side, having replaced Cameron at the interval.

The result means Stirling finished the league phase 14th out of 40 teams, with a record of 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss from 6 games - ending with 11 points, with a +4 goal difference - comfortably inside the top 22 required to qualify for the Knockout Stages.
