First day in new job
Author: Brian Duncan Date: Friday, 18th Jun 2004DAFC.net caught up with Davie Hay to wish him well as the new manager of Dunfermline.
We caught up with the new manager in his first full day at East End Park. Listen to what he has to say by clicking on the audio link below.
I`m sure all Pars fans will get behind the new management team of Hay and Kirkwood as they attempt to do even better next season. It will be difficult to beat the position from last season, but Dunfermline now have a manager who has tasted European games and was one of only two Scottish managers who won silverware last season.
With some players moving on his first task is to go on holiday (only joking - enjoy your holiday). The main task is to get another goalkeeper and DH is having lengthy discussions with the new Executive Director of Football (Mr Leishman) about one they are looking at today. Other players may follow but the squad at East End Park is pretty solid and few replacements will be needed.
