DAFC sign a substantial new deal
Date: Wednesday, 11th Jan 2006Dunfermline Athletic have signed a great new deal with local company Fenestration Design & Build.
Fenestration has contributed a substantial five-figure sum into the Dunfermline Athletics’ Youth Development Programme. This contribution has been further boosted through the successful award of a Sportsmatch Grant who have matched Fenestrations sponsorship £ for £.
This sponsorship deal will assist Dunfermline Athletic at a time when Youth Development is seen to be crucial to the future development of the squad.
Speaking on behalf of Dunfermline Athletic, Jim Leishman the first team manager commented “We were delighted that Fenestration could assist us with such a substantial donation towards our Youth Development Programme. Developing relationships with local companies such as Fenestration is a fundamental aspect of how DAFC can take initiatives such as our Youth Development programme forward and I can’t stress how grateful we are towards Fenestration for supporting us in this way.
Julia Bracewell OBE, Chair of Sportscotland said, “Dunfermline Athletic Football Club is one of more than 1000 sports group throughout Scotland to have benefited from SPORTSMATCH. Our thanks go to Fenestration Design & Build for this sponsorship. This is a great example of how businesses working in partnership with sports organisations and SPORTSMATCH can make a significant contribution to community sport, enhancing the lives of many young people in Scotland.”
