DAFC Sign 6 to their Under 19s Team

On Thursday 25th May at 6pm Dunfermline Athletic will be resigning 6 of their Youth Team players.

These 6 players who previously played in our Under 17s team will be re-signing with Dunfermline Athletic in our Under 19s squad.

The players to be re-signed are:

Charlie Bradshaw
Charlie Bradshaw is aged 16 and is from Rosyth. He is a Striker who Craig Robertson was tipped off about by one of Craig Robertson’s old school teachers.

Gary Leighton
Gary Leighton is aged 16 and is also from Rosyth. A Defender, his dad is the Manager of Kelty Hearts and he has therefore been in the youth business for good few years.

Scott McBride
Scott McBride is aged 16 and is from Perth. He is a left sided player.

Sandy Nairn
Sandy Nairn hails from Edinburgh and is on of the youngest under 19 players at just turned 16 in March. He is a Defender.

Kris Maxwell
Kris Maxwell is 16 from Hill of Beath and is a Striker.

John McCulloch
John McCulloch, another Defender, is aged 17. John is local and is a relative of Greg Paterson.

Craig Robertson says “Getting picked is the easy part … now the hard work begins. However, I am very sure that under the guidance of our Youth Team Coach Hamish French they will work very hard and play well.”
