Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Saturday, 10th Mar 2007Highlights from interviews given by Stephen Kenny and Gus MacPherson after the game against St. Mirren at EEP.
Stephen Kenny
Stephen is disappointed with the result with the pressure being on them to break down a solid St.Mirren set-up but he knows he can’t complain about the oppositions tactics. He admits that his team didn’t get too many clear cut chances but did have a couple of efforts that could have won them the game, he pays credit to the goalkeeper who pulled off an outstanding save from a deflected free-kick. Kenny realises that the game was a chance to claw back some points and he tells us that they do see it as an opportunity missed. He plays on the importance of the next match away at Inverness and hopes his players can do the business in order to give the club more of a chance going into the split.
