Highlights from interviews given by Stephen Kenny, Craig Levein and Tam McManus after the game against Dundee United at East End Park.

Stephen Kenny
Stephen thought that his side, who worked extremely hard for each other, deserved to win with good chances and a fine defensive display. He is obviously pleased at how his players have come back from the points deficit but isnt going to be talking it up as there is still alot of work to be done in trying to remain in the SPL. The manager may take in the St.Mirren vs Falkirk game but insists that his side havent been talking about their rivals and have stuck to there own task of getting wins and playing well. When asked if he is enjoying his time at East End he is hesitant as it has been hard but admits that the enjoyment comes in knowing that your hard work merits the reward that the players have been getting.

Craig Levien
Craig doesnt believe his side meritted anything out of the match on the day as it would have been a great injustice to Dunfermline. He was pleased with his sides midfield and defensive displays but realised that in the final third his player simply weren`t performing. The United manager wasnt surprised by his opposition and felt they did exactly what he expected them to, the difference from earlier in the season is that the goal came.

Tam McManus
Tam realises that in the context of theleague position and timing that his was a huge goal for the team. He gives credit to Shields and McIntyre for making the goal for him to score. Being a Falkirk player for a short time, Tam explains that he has kept in touch with a few of the lads and that he expects them to be professional in their approach to the St.Mirren game on Monday night and doesnt expect them to slacken any. He harks back to the day that St.Mirren came away from East End with a point, causing some of the away fans to goad the home support with relegation chants, he is proud of his team for dragging themselves back into contention. Although Dunfermline are on the way up, Mcmanus is keeping his feet on the ground explaining that the Buddies still have a game in hand and are one point ahead.
