DAFC Open Day 2007
Date: Friday, 25th May 2007Dunfermline Athletic Football Club are holding their annual Open Day on the 27th May.
DAFC opens its doors to fans and local families for a fun day on the pitch at East End Park at 12 noon with admission £2 for adults and under 16’s go free.
This great day out caters for everyone and can be enjoyed by the whole family with a BBQ and beer garden for the adults and ice-cream, bouncy castles and face painting for the kids.
There will be the chance for fans to meet their favourite players and get their new Pars shirt signed. Attendees will also be treated to a variety of stalls and demonstrations from the likes of DAFC girls team, Zest health and beauty, the Scottish Keepieuppie Champion, Fife Fire and Rescue Service, JKA Scotland and Take 3 Theatre School.
The Centenary Club will also be giving tours of the Stadium and Kingdom FM will be bringing along their road show as well as providing the music for the day.
Last year’s attendance peaked at around 3500 and proved to be a huge success with all attending thoroughly enjoying themselves. This year given it is the day after the cup final it is sure to be as big a success as last years, with a great atmosphere guaranteed.
