40th Anniversary

1968 and the following years will be remembered by Pars fans as one of the greatest periods in the club’s history, winning the Scottish Cup followed by getting to the Cup Winners Cup Semi Final in 1968-69 season.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the 3-1 victory over Hearts in the 1968 Scottish Cup Final and to celebrate DAFC have organised a special evening to pay tribute to the team.

Held at East End Park in the Kingdom Suite the evening will begin at 7pm on 28th June, with a two course meal, prepared especially for the occasion by DAFC’s very own chefs. After the meal, Director of Football Jim Leishman will host a short session of after dinner entertainment, before presentations are made to the members of the legendary ’68 team.

Shortly after the presentations have been made, you will be able to dance the evening away with our live band who will be playing a selection of great songs for you to enjoy.

Tickets for the event are only £40 per person (inc vat) and the dress code for the evening will be smart dress only (lounge suits and cocktail dresses).
