FA Community Shield

The Pars Supporters Trust once again have two tickets for the FA Community Shield match up for grabs!

With the new season about to get underway, North and South of the border, The Pars Supporters Trust are delighted to announce that they are running a "silent" auction for two tickets for the Community Shield match at Wembley on Sunday 10 August. Manchester United v Portsmouth. Kick off 3pm.

The tickets have once again this year been donated by Mr. John Park, MSP, for Mid-Scotland & Fife. John has taken an active interest in the Supporters Trust movement and football supporters generally, at a parliament level. He also takes a close interest in all things to do with the Pars and not least as he is related to Greg Shields.

If you would like to make a bid for the tickets e-mail parstrust@yahoo.co.uk The auction will close on Saturday 2 August to allow time for the winner to be advised and to allow the winner to make their travel arrangements etc.

The Pars Supporters Trust chairman, Margaret Ross, will give periodic updates, here on DAFC.Net,on the "winning" bid between now and 2 August in case you want to increase your bid!

For the avoidance of doubt, the prize is solely the two match tickets for Wembley. Travel and accommodation requirements will be the winners responsibility.

The proceeds raised will be used by the Pars Supporters Trust to help DAFC`s community programme.
