Dundee Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Sunday, 9th Nov 2008Highlights from interviews given by Jocky Scott and Jim McIntyre after the game against Dundee at EEP.
Jocky Scott
Jocky is of course pleased with the result, especially against a Dunfermline team that has been going very well of late, however he feels his players need to pick up a bit of `knowledge` if they are to continue to improve. The performance was not perhaps as entertaining as it could have been but the new boss explains it will take time for the team to come round to his way of doing things. Scorer of the winning goal, Antoine Curier could have come away with a double but for a glaring miss late on, but Jocky is not going to dwell on that given that he won the game in first place for his side. Overall it was the effort that Dundee applied that won them this vital three points.
Jim McIntyre
McIntyre is understandabley not pleased at dropping another three points at home and feels that the players decisions were some what to blame for the lack of attempts on goal. Final balls were found wanting time and time again and this hindered the ability for the team to get back into the game. Jim has no qualms about the winning goal, he doesnt feel that the striker was offside and realises that it was his own teams attacking that left them stretched at the back.
