Partick Thistle Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Sunday, 15th Mar 2009Highlights from interviews given by Ian McCall and Jim McIntyre after the game against Partick Thistle at East End Park.
Ian McCall
Ian is happy at his sides solid performance away from home managing to break away on a number of occasions but lacking that bit of composure to go on and score. Having taken the lead through a penalty McCall drew on the fact that Dunfermlines home form is so poor and that the crowd often get on their back. On the title challenge, the Partick boss isn`t confident of his teams chances and names a number of clubs who he considers to stil be involved in the fight.
Jim McIntyre
Jim is again very dissapointed with the result at home but also at the referee`s decision to disallow a perfectly good goal which would have changed the game. There is no arguments about the penalty but with that being Particks first opportunity in the game it is slightly galling for the manager. Looking forward to the mid-week game in Aberdeen, Jim doesn`t see there being an issue with lifting the players for such a big tie but he wants his team to remain composed throughout.
