Celtic Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Monday, 8th Feb 2010Highlights from interviews given by Jim McIntyre and Tony Mowbray after the game against Celtic at East End Park.
Jim McIntyre
Jim, overall, was happy with his teams performance, especially with the way they battled back into the game having gone a goal down. He would, however, have prefered to go in at half time still in the lead. The way the team played on the ball caused Celtic a lot of problems at times and this pleased the manager no end. McIntyre congratulates his opposition for progressing in the cup and gives a special mention to the home fans for turning out to support the club.
Tony Mowbray
Tony was obviously pleased with the result having made it through to the next round of the cup and at this stage the result is all that matters for the Celtic manager. He picks out several players in his own team that he feels played particularly well and explains that this gives him plenty of attacking options. Loan signing Robbie Keane started on the bench for the Glasgow club and Mowbray explains that this is solely down to the fact that he has played two, nintey minute games already in the week. There then follows a monologue about Mr. R Keane.
