Stirling Post Match Interviews
Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Sunday, 31st Oct 2010Highlights from interviews given by Jim McIntyre and Calum Woods after the game against Stirling Albion at East End Park.
Jim McIntyre
Jim knew that Stirling would come to East End Park and set up defensively but he is delighted at how his team coped with such a strategy to get the result. Stirling caused the home defence problems, however, and the manager wasn`t wholly pleased with the defending at times. Goalkeeper, Chris Smith, took a bad knock to the face and will have stitches in his chin but shouldn`t be out for next weeks trip to Greenock.
Calum Woods
Calum is happy with keeping a clean sheet as Stirling did cause the back line a few problems. He is even happier at having got the third goal to kill the game and ease the pressure. Woods is confident that Dunfermline can stick it out at the top of the table and knows that the club has the players to challenge, taking each game at a time.
