Some silky footwork from Crawford on the wing left the Well defence for dead, and after Stevie whipped in a superb cross, de Gier applied a superb volley into the top left hand corner from 15 yards.

2. DAVIE NICHOLLS v St Johnstone (A) August
The Pars broke quickly from defence down the right side, and good link-up play from Nicholson and Bullen saw the ball land at the left foot of Nicholls, who slammed the ball high past the helpless Alan Main.

3. STEVIE CRAWFORD v Celtic (A) September
A goal that made the trip west worth while! Crawford ran into the box, and after controlling the ball impressively, thundered a left foot shot which rattled into the roof of the net.

4. STEVIE CRAWFORD v Aberdeen (A) October
After the ball was not properly cleared by the Dons defence, Crawford latched onto a ball twenty-five yards out, and drilled a low shot through a ruck of players into the bottom left hand corner.

5. BARRY NICHOLSON v Hibernian (H) December
A match winning goal! Hutardo headed a cross away from any apparent danger, only for wee Baz to thunder the ball past onlooking strikers and defenders, and past Nick Colgan`s right hand.

6. SCOTT THOMSON v Motherwell (H) January
Thommo curled a superb right foot free kick past the claret and amber wall, to put the pars 2-0 up.

7. SCOTT THOMSON v Hearts (H) February
Another belter from Thommo, who with the aid of a slight deflection, fired a right foot free kick past Niemmi.

8. BARRY NICHOLSON v Dundee (H) March
The goal that put the Pars in the top six. Barry controlled a poor layoff from Crawford, and smashed a left foot volley past the helpless Speroni.
