Not For All Seasons
Date: Monday, 28th Aug 2000A home draw against Motherwell in the next round of the CIS Insurance Cup has brought its surprises for season ticket holders.
It seems that season tickets are NOT valid for this match scheduled for Wednesday 6th September.
This will be the second home CIS Insurance Cup match and so season tickets are not valid.
Most fans will refer to the back page of their season ticket book where the conditions of issue which states at number 2;
"Admits holder to ALL matches played at East End Park with the exception of charity, benefit, and representative matches or matches in which DAFC do not take part."
Season Ticket Entitlement as set out in the information provided by Dunfermline Athletic and placed on this site on 1st June 2000, stated season ticket holders would have admission to the following matches at East End Park:
[1] All Scottish Premier League matches
[2] Pre season friendly matches
[3] The first "home" match in the CIS Insurance League Cup.
[4] The first "home" match in the Tennent's Scottish Cup.
[5] Youth / U21 matches.
Note: Season Ticket holders will be required to pay for any subsequent League Cup and Scottish Cup rounds at East End Park. Special prices will apply, but will be confirmed when the draw is made.
News of those "special" admission prices and how season ticket holders can claim their seats as soon as we are told.
