Sam`s Signing Is O-FISH-al

Monday saw the first day of pre-season training for the Dunfermline Athletic squad ahead of Season 2023-2024. As well as the nucleus of the squad which have been signed up for the new campaign, Monday also saw a `new old face` return to KDM Group East End Park.

Defender Sam Fisher was officially announced as a Pars player, following the relevant agreements being made with Dundee – with Tony Docherty`s side being due Training Compensation, while also agreeing a Sell-On Clause with Athletic, as well.

With the first pre-season friendly just a few days away, it was quickly back to work for the squad, who are ramping up their fitness training by playing German Bundesliga 2 Club F.C. St. Pauli on Friday evening. A large crowd is expected to flock to the home of Dunfermline for this exhibition match against a side DAFC`s Director Thomas Meggle knows extremely well.

At least one more `new old face` is expected to join ahead of the first outing of the summer for the lads, with the deal complete and all paperwork signed as far as DAFC.Net understands. We believe the Football Club are awaiting the Green (and White) light to officially announce the deal.
