I was based in deepest Lincolnshire - still aiming at being a Met Office Forecaster - before joining real Civil Service /Audit Scotland in Edinburgh.

After the Saturday cup final draw, the Flight Sergeant duty barman said if we beat Celtic in the replay he would buy all that I could drink the next weekend. Seemed to recall it cost him all of 3 shandies !!
