No concessions at Ibrox and Hearts fans having to pay more at East End Park.

This saturdays game at Ibrox puts another strain on financial resources especially where people wish to take their family to see the Pars play against Rangers. Last Saturday the Hearts fans had to pay more to get into East End Park compared to home fans.

Children and Concessions will have to pay £20 (as stated from ticket office) for a ticket at Ibrox. Not surprising by lunchtime on Thursday East End Park had sold less than 100 tickets.

This is not just because the the result is a often foregone conclusion. The price of the tickets for a family have a bearing as to whether you go or not.

Why is this ? Today while the boards of both clubs are attempting to get as many fans to a game - why do they insist in such a ridiculous pricing structure. (although this situation is not just found at at these clubs)

Just because one club has a crazy pricing system there is no reason why another should follow suit. You remember when you were a child your mother repeatedly told you "if someone jumped in a river you wouldn`t follow them". Just because someone does something doesn`t mean you have to be as bad back to them.

Its a different story if you are continually filling a stadium and can afford to charge the full price but in todays climate you cannot afford to turn away any fan. Regardless of this I personaly do not agree with any club charging a full price for a child.

Do the clubs really want fans to turn up at games or not ?
