Author: Brian Date: Monday, 23rd Dec 2002Kozma, a former favourite with Pars fans, is due to play in Stewart Petrie`s testimonial game.
Kozma is delighted to come back to Dunfermline where he had so many happy memories. Kozma played for the Pars from 1989 until 1992 and made 103 appearances which he said was one of the happies times of his career.
He is currently playing in the Hungarian Third Division and still enjoying his football. He says he is still fit and very keen to play at East End Park again. No doubt Istvan will be very impressed with the current state of the stadium
Kozma was brought to EEP from Bordeaux by Jim Leishman for a record fee of £540,000. He was sold to Liverpool three years later for £300,000 as the club had financial problems. It was reported that his best ever game was against St Mirren where he scored a hat trick.
Kozma should be a major attraction back at East End Park, although he is 38 he says he`s like Craig Brewster and still very fit.
Kozma was an internationalist while playing for Dunfermline and had 13 international appearances out of 39 while here.
