Team news for Celtic

Author: Michael Ross Date: Saturday, 28th Dec 2002

Dunfermline manager Jimmy Calderwood has no new injury problems as he prepares his side for Sunday`s daunting trip to champions Celtic.

Brewster putting superb effort in attack Celtic goal.

Barry Nicholson came through the defeat to Kilmarnock unscathed despite breaking a bone in his wrist recently.

Calderwood`s only casualty for the match is defender Gus McPherson who is still recovering from a knee operation.
Jimmy Calderwood has said they promised to attack Celtic despite their 2-0 defeat at home to Kilmarnock on Thursday.

He says, "That`s our record against the teams outside the Old Firm gone now, but we now have to build another one".

"That`s easier said than done going to Glasgow and we haven`t done anything against the Old Firm away from home since I`ve been here so that`s the next aim.

"We need the belief that we can go there and cause them problems and we did so on the first day of the season and we will try to be positive again."

So can the mighty pars hold on and defeat an old firm side for the first time under the two jimmys, we shall wait and see.
