A lack of attacking punch worried coach Mick Waitt more than the All Whites' 1-0 loss to Dunfermline Athletic last night. Veteran striker Craig Brewster marked his debut for the Scottish premier league club with a well-taken 69th minute goal to clinch the match at Wellington's WestpacTrust Stadium.

On the 13th June, Dunfermline announced their fourth (and final?) signing of the summer. Scott Walker has been snapped up for no fee from 1st division strugglers St Mirren.
Walker will be well known to Pars fans after his displays in the 1st division title battle in 1999/00 and St Mirren's relegation season the following year.
